The Viper

"Heh, okay" Ari vanishes from the bald titan's view in just a flash,

'What the?! Where is he?" The bald titan looks around in a panic, the heavy rain and wind doesn't help him.

Ari whistles from above, he's up in the sky face first, aiming towards the bald titan,

'Up there!'

"Plus Style: Multiply Punch" The bald titan revs up his big fist prepared to hit Ari in the sky with it, his ability multiplies his fist by 4, causing the impact to hit 4 times.

"Showtime." Ari's eyes flash purple as he accelerates midair, causing the bald titan to lose sight of him once more. Ari then appears behind him and uses a double-axe to strike him in the back of the neck, causing the bald man to promptly fall to the ground before he could activate his ability.

"Let's see…" Ari looks through his pocket to find the bald man's name, he finds a card.

'Leo, he wasn't one of my targets…' Ari throws away the card casually,

"Oh, well, at least I didn't kill him."

Ari walks back inside from the wall he previously got thrown through, there are bodies scattered around everywhere.

'Checking every one of these is gonna be a hassle…'

He checks everybody to see if his targets are anywhere in here, the bodies scattered around in a small hallway,

'Nope, none of these guys…'

As Ari approaches the end of the hallway, he hears crying in the distance.

Ari freezes for a moment, his eyes widen in shock. That voice, he knows it. It's Monita.

'I can't run into her now… crap." Ari sneaks behind a wall, only to find Monita, sitting on a pile of bodies, crying.

"Dori Dori… where are you? You left me all alone…" She says in between her sobs.

'It looks like her weird teddy bear isn't with her… maybe she isn't as strong right now…'

Ari takes a second look at the pile of bodies scattered around the hallway and the pile of bodies in the room she's sitting on.

'Yeah, no. She's definitely still strong… better get out of here for now…'

Ari tries to sneak away, but just when he takes a step, a nail gets shot, piercing through the wall he was hiding behind.

'No way…' Ari thinks awkwardly,

"I know you're there… come out…" Monita whispers while sniffling,

Ari steps out of hiding and puts his hands up,

"It's just me." He says while chuckling awkwardly,

"It's you… you are… you are… um… who are you?" Monita asks calmly,

The two stare at each other awkwardly.

'Is she serious…?' Ari thinks bitterly,

Just then an explosion interrupts the two, Ari sees this as an exit strategy and swiftly leaves during the smoke,

'She doesn't remember me… I can't believe I thought she was cute…' Ari thinks sarcastically as he's running away from the scene, he makes up scenarios and daydreams about him and Monita smiling together, only to run into a dead zone.

'The air just got cold…' Ari stops and examines his surroundings,

Ari closes his eyes and focuses on his hearing,

'Six o'clock!'

At the last second, Ari dodges an icicle that was aimed at the back of his head,

"Coward…" He says teasingly,

Out of the shadows, the student who threw the icicle steps out,

"It's called strategy, I'm Piero." He says in a mocking tone,

"It's called, me, beating your ass." Ari responds with a smug grin on his face,

He lunges at the man quickly, but before contact someone tackles Ari into the wall,

Piero loads up another icicle of his before his accomplice steps away from Ari's tackled body.

"Like I said, strategy."

Ari's dazed view looks up to find 7 students co-operating against him.

"You guys… really are cowards." Ari says weakly,

"Whose target was he again? Lotus? Poppy?"

Ari's ears perk up,

'Lotus? Lotus is my target.'

Ari looks up at the 7 students surrounding him, Lotus appears to be behind Piero, he has orange hair and looks kind of weak.

'I have to save Mana… but looks like I'm out of options…'

Ari does his hand sign in front of everybody,

"Scorpio Style: Viper Pulse."

Ari activates his infamous Mana eating ability, Piero's eyes widen in shock and panics to get his icicle shot off!

"Arctic Style: Icicle Sho-." He gets interrupted by Ari punching him, sending him flying out of the prison.

A student on the right side of Ari barely manages to react before Ari taps him quickly on the chest, draining his mana rapidly,

'2 down, 5 more to go.'

The student that tackled Ari earlier tries to tackle him again but this time Ari jumps over him, he stands on his back but jumps off, sending the student crashing into a wall,

'3…'

Midair, Ari revs up a punch, hitting another student clean in the jaw with his Viper Pulse, effortlessly defeating him.

'4…'

Poppy, a student that was with this alliance, falls on her butt in a panic,

Ari walks up to her slowly, the student that tried tackling him earlier tries once again, only to run into Ari's Viper Pulse'd hand. He gets defeated in an instant.

"N-no, wait, they forced me to be a part of their team… please…" Poppy says in a panic,

"Wind Style: Air Scythe!" Gets activated from another student behind Ari, he swiftly turns around and just cuts through the student's Air Scythe,

The student's eyes widen in shock,

"N-n-n-no way… my Wind Style…" He says, shaking nervously,

Ari lunges forward and punches him in the throat, leaving him gasping for air,

'5…'

He turns his attention to Lotus and another student, they both are running away from the scene,

"Oh, no you don't!" Ari starts chasing after them,

Back in the warehouse, Saint is staring at the ceiling, pondering. He can't sleep, too distracted. He decides to get up and go for a walk.

'I wonder how they're doing…' Saint thinks, referring to his classmates at Sangre De Reyes.

As he walks, he takes in some fresh air, he's walking some distance away from the warehouse, he then sees a hill with a cherry blossom tree on it not too far away.

'Guess I'll go there…'

As he arrives, he notices Jane, sitting by the tree, the view from the tree is a beautiful lake.

'Crap! I'm gonna look like a stalker now…'

"Sorry, I didn't know you were here…" Saint says awkwardly,

Jane smiles warmly,

"It's okay, sit here with me." She scoots over and pats beside her,

Saint hesitates but sits down with her, they both stare out at the lake.

"It's beautiful, right?" She asks softly,

"Yeah… it is…"
