Do you dare to compare?

The underground arena was the largest place in the city for competitions and gambling. There were many challenges, and both sides had to agree on the terms of the bet before the competition and fulfill them.

This was also David's way of making things difficult for Emma.

Emma smiled and was originally too lazy to bother. But some people wouldn't learn until they were taught a lesson.

So she nodded and casually replied, "Sure."

It was a piece of cake to deal with a kid like him.

And so, their bet was set.

The whole class was in an uproar!

"Emma is asking for trouble!"

"I feel like she's trying to attract Young Master Taylor's attention in this way," someone whispered.

"I don't care, I'm going to watch too. It would be great if we could capture Emma's embarrassed expression on camera. Hahaha!" another voice chimed in.

Amidst the various discussions, Isabella approached William with a fake concern and said, "Brother William, are you going? What if Sister Emma gets bullied? You can help her!"

"I'm not going," William replied without hesitation. He was so disgusted with Emma that he couldn't even stand hearing her name.

Isabella secretly chuckled at his response.

And so, when school was over, almost the entire class went to the secret venue to see how Emma would embarrass herself.

David had gone too far this time, coming up with the most vicious ideas and the most difficult challenges. Could Emma handle it?

She was probably going to cry and make a fool of herself!

When Emma arrived at the secret venue, David was already waiting for her.

"So, Emma, are you satisfied with the challenges I've prepared for you?" he asked.

They were going to play archery!

One of the most difficult challenges in the secret venue.

Seeing this, Emma looked at David curiously and asked, "Are you sure?"

Is this guy stupid?

Doesn't he know that Emma has been playing archery since she was eight years old?

Compared to her, isn't he embarrassed?

But David misunderstood and thought she was scared, immediately saying, "Do you want to back out? Let me tell you, once we're in the dark room, we have to abide by the bet!"

The bet is ..... If Emma loses, she has to do a strip dance in the center of the dark room!

The same goes for David if he loses...

This bet is too big!

The people who followed them were shocked and opened their mouths wide!

"Damn, this is exciting!"

"It's over, Emma is really in big trouble this time!"

"This punishment is too harsh, Emma will never be able to hold her head up again in her life!"

Archery is played by scoring points on the target. To show that he is generous, David proudly said to Emma, "I'll give you two more arrows than me. How about that? I'm taking care of you!"

Emma didn't even blink and went straight to the shooting position.

"Let's start, I'm busy, don't waste my time."

This casual remark was a contemptuous attitude that completely ignored David.

David was so angry that smoke came out of his nostrils.

"You don't know what's good for you! Don't blame me for being impolite!"

Before the formal start, the young boys and girls watching below also set up a betting activity, and 99% of them were betting on David!

The only one who bought Emma's skills was out of pity for her...

Finally, the first arrow was shot!

David hit the six-ring!

A great start!

His friends cheered along with him.

"Come on, we get to see a beautiful girl dance or not is all up to you!"

Everyone laughed.

The second arrow hit the eight-ring!

David was confident of winning and his face turned red with excitement. "Emma, you're going to lose!"

Every arrow after that hit either the four-ring, six-ring, or ten-ring!

After ten arrows, he scored a total of forty-eight points!

"How about it, Emma? If you surrender now and beg me, I might consider letting you go!" David boasted.

How could he be so proud of such a mediocre score?

Emma sneered and took the bow and arrow from him.

This action is difficult for most girls to do because it requires a lot of arm strength.

David only chose this event to make things difficult for her.

But little did he know, standing on the shooting range, Emma in her red dress, chin slightly raised, had a calm and exquisite face, and even had an indescribable heroic spirit!

Her every move was breathtakingly beautiful and captivating...

Everyone was stunned.

Some even felt jealous, thinking, "Hmph, she's just slightly better-looking than the rest of us!"

"The vase is just for show, it's not practical at all!"

"Pretentious, huh? In my opinion, it's still unknown whether this bow and arrow can even fly. Who is she trying to impress? It's ridiculous!"

As the discussions continued, more and more people gathered around the darkened area.

In the private room on the second floor, Oliver was reporting something to Elijah when his attention was suddenly drawn to the scene below. "Elijah, look! There's a beautiful girl down there shooting arrows!"

Elijah was never interested in this kind of scene, but seeing Oliver so excited, he couldn't help but take a glance.

And then he froze.

Huh?

Isn't that the bold and daring little girl who had other plans for him?

In the forest, that face only caught a glimpse, but its stunning beauty was enough to make it unforgettable.

And that girl with a chirping butterfly bow.

Elijah patted Oliver on the back. "Stop staring and place your bet."

"What?" Oliver didn't react at first and asked, "Bet on who?"

"Her."

Before the results were announced, the betting didn't stop.

As everyone's attention was focused on the field, few noticed that someone had bet a hundred million on Emma to win!

And at this moment, Emma lazily released her first arrow!

Amidst the anticipation of the crowd, this fierce arrow flew through the air!

But the next second, it didn't even hit the target and fell to the ground.

It missed by a mile!

"Hahaha, I knew it! She's just a pretty face!" someone laughed.

"I thought she was amazing, but it turns out she's all show and no substance. It's hilarious!" another chimed in.

"It looks like we're in for a treat tonight. I've got my eyes set on that strip tease!" someone else joked.

Laughter echoed throughout the dark arena.

Emma remained unfazed and reached for her second arrow.

But the result was the same as before - a missed target!

The laughter grew louder.

In the blink of an eye, all five of Emma's arrows missed the target.

Zero points!

This meant that she had to hit the bullseye with all five arrows in order to beat David!

But was that even possible?

David was laughing so hard that he was pounding the table, pointing at Emma and saying, "Just give up already. If you beg me, I might consider letting you keep half your clothes on!"

It was summer, and Emma was already dressed in light clothing. David was suggesting that she dance in her underwear.

Emma gave him a cold look and pulled back her bowstring again.

Now, she was playing for real.

For the audience, this was already a foregone conclusion.

"Ugh, this is so boring. She's going to lose anyway."

The sound of chatter and mocking laughter went on and on.

Even Oliver, who was watching from the second floor, shook his head and said, "She's going to lose."

"Maybe not."

Elijah leaned against the floor-to-ceiling window, his face as lazy as ever. But in his dark, deep eyes, there was a different kind of certainty.

"Really?"

Oliver was skeptical, but when he looked down, he suddenly burst out, "Holy shit!"

"Ten... ten points!"

Emma had shot an arrow that hit the red bullseye right in the center!

The mocking laughter from all around suddenly stopped--

How was this possible?
