The rooftop was quiet under the pale morning light. Far below, the streets of Devil's Side began to stir — unaware of the storm building above.
Bunnyman sat on the ledge, arms resting on his knees, gaze fixed on the skyline. Lady Tape leaned against the railing beside him, her fingers idly playing with a roll of tape. Deadknight stood a short distance away, back straight, arms crossed. The silence between them wasn't tense… just thick with questions.
Finally, Bunnyman turned to him.
"You followed me," he said.
Deadknight didn't respond immediately. His mask gave away nothing. Then, in a low voice, he replied, "I came for you."
Lady Tape raised an eyebrow, amused. "For him? Are you in love with him or what?"
"I've been watching Devil's Side for a while," Deadknight said. "I saw what happened at the docks. I knew he was involved."
"So you're one of us now?" she asked, half-mocking.
Deadknight didn't answer that. His silence held weight, the kind that made people listen.
Bunnyman stood up. "Then you saw what they were doing to the kids. The drugs. The facility on that island. This isn't just some gang or trafficking ring. There's someone behind it. Someone worse."
"Mr. Crow," Lady Tape added. "He runs it all. We don't know how far his reach goes… but it's bigger than anything we've dealt with."
Bunnyman looked at Deadknight. "We could use your help. This isn't something we can do alone."
For a moment, Deadknight remained motionless.
Then, with no words, no nod, he simply stepped forward — joining them on the ledge.
Lady Tape gave a small grin. "I guess that's a yes."
Bunnyman's eyes narrowed as he looked at the city below.
Three vigilantes. One goal. And only three days to act before Mr. Crow made his move.
They didn't know exactly what lay ahead. But together, they were no longer just chasing shadows.
They were ready to hunt.
