Auriana
We'd been given a dressing room at the hospital and were now getting ready for the performance.
"I can't believe we're doing this," Emma protested.
"Come on, do it for Luna. I'd rather perform as myself too. It's only this one time," I said, lacing up the pink glitter converse.
"You're such a goody two shoes," Emma said. I rolled my eyes.
"Just get changed," Renee said as she put on her boots. The clothes were exactly like in the show, everyone would recognize them.
"It's not that bad," Brooke said as she put the headband with a glitter star in the purple wig she was wearing.
"You're making something different for Scarlet's performance, right?" Emma tied the wings around her arms.
"Yeah, but I'm keeping it a secret for now." She stuck her tongue out teasingly.
"Sounds good," Brooke said as she tied the boots. After fifteen minutes we were done changing. Emilia came to get us and took us to the stage where a curtain was hanging. We put on our headsets behind the curtain.
"You guys look cute," Jake said. We couldn't help but roll our eyes and climb onto the stage. The curtain opened and the kids started cheering.
"Hey sugar cubes, I'm Destiny and I'm here with my four best friends who I'm sure you know!" I said. Brooke skipped forward.
"I'm Mackenzie, let's party." She gestured to the others.
"Hope, Faith, Sparkie, come join us." The kids enthusiastically sat closer to the stage.
"Hit it!" Emma shouted. The music started playing and we started dancing.
"I am just an ordinary girl,"
"With something magical,'
"First I was scared but now I've embraced it,"
"Now the magic's mine,"
"Never knew magic was out there you know?"
"At first I thought I was going nuts but now…"
"Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh…"
"I know I can do it, I have the power to use it,"
"Just don't know how,"
"Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh…"
"I've got the magic in my blood, fighting to keep it,"
"Never giving up,"
"Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh…"
"I've got this magic inside of me,"
"Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh…"
"And I… feel like I'm finally me,"
"With my spell book, there's nothing I can't do,"
"I believe I'm ready,"
"Hit me with these lessons, nothing I can't handle,"
"I'm gonna shine,"
"Never knew magic was out there you know?"
"At first I thought I was going nuts but now…"
"Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh…"

"Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh…" The children started clapping. Luna ran onto the stage and gave Emma a hug.
"Hope…I think you're the best." Emma threw her arms around the little girl. She saw the Sparkle girls on her headscarf and smiled. Despite the fact that Luna had already experienced a lot in her short time here on earth, she remained positive. Emma admired that.
"Well, we have to go back to Shinesdale, because Princess Lightscreen needs us," I said.
"Bye!" the children said in unison. We jumped off the stage and waved one last time to the children in the audience before we walked away.
"Never again!" Emma shouted, "I love performing, but not dressed as a cartoon character." We walked back into the dressing room and plopped down on the wooden benches that were attached to the gray, stone walls.
"Emma, don't be such a whiner, you saw that smile on Luna's face, didn't you," Renee said. There was a knock on the door.
"Are you dressed?" Jeremy asked. Brooke opened the door just a little so she could peek around the corner.
"Yes!" Renee called back. Jake, Jimmy, and Jeremy came in.
"Can we help you brush out your hair?" Jeremy asked. He loved working on other people's hair. His sisters often came to him for makeovers. Brooke threw her brush at Jimmy who caught it. Emma laughed at the way Jeremy looked at her enthusiastically and threw her brush at him.
"Auriana?" Jake asked expectantly. He wasn't sure where he and I were at the moment, but he wanted to be near me. I rolled my eyes and threw my brush at him, but it hit Jake's head. I ran over to him.
"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly. Jake fell to the ground as soon as I reached him.
"Jake!" I knelt down next to him and leaned over him. Jake pushed my head toward his with his hand and kissed me. I jerked up.
"Jake Carl Horatio Matthews!" I shouted angrily. I punched him in the chest and turned away from him with my arms crossed.
"Your first name is Horatio?" Renee laughed. Jake rolled his eyes and ignored her comment.
"Auriana, you can't tell me you didn't like it." I glared at him.
"That was your second kiss," Jeremy said. Jake grabbed my arm.
"Auriana?" he asked uncertainly. He was afraid he had already blown his chances with me. I still glared at him, but didn't pull away. Jake threw his arms around me, and I let him but didn't hug him back.
"Aww," Brooke, Renee, Skylar, Emma, Jimmy, and Jeremy did. Jake and I looked at them.
"We mean...boo!" Jeremy said. This made us all burst out laughing.
