Auriana

We stood impatiently waiting for Renee to tell us why we had to go to the dressing room. Renee pulled a sheet off the rack and five beautiful dresses appeared. Skylar put on the blue dress that was tight up to her waist and flared out from there. The part above her bust was sheer blue with wide straps and the top was made out of diamonds. She let part of her hair hang down while she tied the other part in a bun. Brooke's dress was about the same style as Skylar. Her dress was dark purple and tight up to her waist and flared out. Around her waist was a large light purple bow. She made two half ponytails and also let the rest of her hair hang loose. Emma chose the light green dress, which was about the same as the dress Renee had made for me. The green skirt was long in the back and short in the front. The top was made of black fabric and diamonds were attached to the bottom part. Emma made a braid on the side and let the rest of her hair hang loose. Renee put on the light yellow draped dress herself. It was short and strapless. It hugged her figure perfectly. She ran a brush through her hair and decided to let it hang loose. I put on the pink and white strapless dress that was layered. The back was longer than the front. I tied my long red hair in a slanted ponytail and let strands hang loose near my face.

"Was this the surprise I wasn't supposed to see?" Brooke asked. She remembered Renee being so secretive back in the studio.

"Yes," Renee answered. We put on the matching shoes and touched up our makeup.

"Ready for your song?" Nikki asked. She handed me a microphone. I nodded as I took the microphone. Brooke, Renee, Nikki, Skylar and Emma grabbed a microphone and walked with me onto the stage.

"Hey everyone! Are you having fun?" Brooke asked. There was cheering.

Emma and Skylar high-fived each other. Hannah was furious.

Jake grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the tables with the food. He handed me a cupcake.

"Hey Jake, can you smell this? I think this one smells a little funny." I held the cupcake up so he could get a better look, Jake leaned over and before he knew it I was pushing the cupcake in his face. Jake wiped some frosting off his nose and popped it in his mouth.

"Mmm…blueberries," he said as he wiped his nose with a napkin. My eyes scanned the room. Brooke and Jimmy were dancing together, Jeremy, Nikki and Scarlet were laughing in a quiet corner, probably at a joke Jeremy had made. Emma and Skylar were talking to Hannah and Renee was flirting with a boy.

"Are you having fun?" Jake asked. I smiled as I looked at him.

"Yeah, I think the party was a success." That smile seemed to be permanently on my face as long as he was near me.

"You know what makes the party even better?"

"Well?" Revenge is sweet and I should've seen it coming. He shoved a cupcake in my face before I could do anything about it. Blindly, I grabbed a napkin from the table and wiped my nose. With my finger, I wiped a little bit of the buttercream off the napkin and popped it in my mouth.

"Strawberries…yummy," I smiled happily as he suppressed a chuckle.

Emma

"Hannah…we're sorry, but we have to tell you something." Skylar and I stood by a crying Hannah. She was standing alone in the corner of the gym. No one had seen her come back into the gym, but we felt she needed to know the truth.

"What?" She had never been so embarrassed. She had made a complete fool of herself in front of the entire school.

"Jake used you to make Auriana jealous," Skylar said softly. Hannah stormed over to Jake with tears in her eyes before we could stop her.

"Is it true?" She looked at him with pain in her eyes. They were talking so loudly that we could hear it here.

"Is what true?"

"Did you use me to make that jealous?" She pointed her hand in Auriana's direction.

"Wow, wow, wow, did you call me a that?!" Auriana asked. Hannah rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Okay, first of all, Auriana is not a that but the sweetest, most beautiful, honest girl I know! Second of all, yes! I used you to make Auriana jealous," Jake said. Hannah slapped him across the face and walked away angrily with tears in her eyes. Skylar and I ran over to Jake and Auriana. Auriana looked at Jake with a shocked look on her face.

"I'm okay," Jake assured her. He kissed her cheek and poured her a glass of Coke. Auriana took the glass with a smile. Brooke also walked over to the tables and poured a glass of grape juice.

"Your bakery is really great," I said with my mouth full. Jeremy ran over to them, grabbed a cookie and ran back to Scarlet and Nikki.

"I'll never understand him," Jake said. The rest burst out laughing.

"Neither will we," Auriana, Brooke, Skylar and I said in unison.

"Jake, can you come with me for a minute?" Jake walked over to the principal.

"What's up Principal Nicolas?" She looked at him seriously.

"You'll have to help me in a minute, Jimmy and Jeremy too, and would you mind to sing another song?" He nodded and looked around the room where everyone was.

"Sure, I'll get the others," Jake said and walked away. The principal looked around and walked over to her assistant.

"Thank you, Michelle? You have to put the cushions on a table with a sparkling cloth and then you know what on top of that."
