After Liam and Chloe were escorted out by security, a quiet spell settled over my life for several months.


I was initially surprised by their silence. I had prepared myself for a long, drawn-out battle. Then I heard through the tech grapevine that Liam’s company was in trouble. He was busy dealing with the fallout from a failed B-round of funding.


Things were not going well for him. One day, Chloe went on a rampage, bombarding my phone with messages full of insults. She accused me of saying something to Liam that made him take back the art studio and the condo he had gifted her.


I didn’t reply to her. Instead, I took a screenshot of her messages and posted it on my professional network.


“Is the ‘independent’ art studio Chloe Sterling keeps bragging about a gift from my husband? Instead of wasting time messaging me, perhaps Chloe should focus on getting Liam to finally sign our divorce papers.”
