The Navy isn’t always just, and pirates aren’t always evil.
But the Navy, by its very nature, stands on the side of justice. Pirates, no matter the cause they claim, represent the banner of lawless justice.
It is the Navy that upholds order in the world. Pirates exist only to tear that order apart.
Yet justice is not a word to be twisted. Evil masked in justice is still evil.
To commit atrocities in the name of "justice," to kill the innocent while wearing that title, is a sin I cannot abide.
My justice has limits.
the story was going great then one villain blows himself up and hurts civilians and all of a sudden the mc who has fought in life threatening battles and has killed people suddenly near completely breaks down with a broken expression and needs a generic pep talk to get up which is the author forcing development for characters in a completely shot way
