King Midas and Bartholomew now sat in the Gold Eagle behind the Pilot.
"Set course for Aurelia," King Midas ordered the pilot.
"A-Aurelia my King? The people there hate you as much as the people of Aurumia love you! Ever since the war," said Bartholomew, to which he got cut off by the King.
"Them hating me is irrelevant. My people are suffering, and I am still their king. It is my duty to go and check on them," said the King.
The pilot took off and started a course towards Aurelia.
"A-and what about the boy? Why did you bring him with us? H-he's still alive isn't he?" continued Bartholomew.
"He's alive. I'm not that cruel. Want to know what I think. This kid is special. I mean, which other 15 year old has an army of robots or the ability to take down a threat that leveled a city?
According to the EIA's reports this kid, Harry Hex, inherited a fortune after his father died on the night of the incident eight years ago. After which he opened a tech company at the age of 10, with the help of his mother of course, But the tech he sold was revolutionary. He is now the proud owner of Harry Co, the leading tech corporation in Elandore right now. Not only that but the report also stated that he himself invented the tech without any help.
Sadly, his mother passed away last year, but he made a plea in court to be able to stay without a guardian. Of course it was accepted, considering this kid had achieved what most people can't achieve in their entire lives.
This isn't your average kid. I'm sure he knows something. Which is why I brought him on to scare the information out of him," replied the King.
"Pilot, Tell me when we fly above the forest," he continued addressing the pilot.
There was a huge body of water that ran between Aurelia and Aurumia.
Between them was a bridge built over the water that extended two kilometers wide.
"H-hey my King... The highway on the bridge has been empty lately due to current events, yet I see a cloaked man running across it. He seems to be going to Aurelia," Bartholomew told King Midas curiously.
"We're flying above the forest now your Majesty," the pilot informed the King.
"That's not important Bartholomew. Now that we're above the forest, I have business to attend to," replied King Midas as he took Harry's golden statue from the back of the helicopter and stood near the opened door of the Gold Eagle.
He dangled the statue outside the helicopter by the collar.
He snapped his fingers and Harry started turning back to normal.
The reversal started at the bottom of his feet, all the way up to his head.
Once it had finally reached his head, King Midas spoke.
"Tell me everything you know about the Beast, Harry. I wouldn't hesitate dropping you from here if you lie to me,"
What-? Where the hell am I!? Harry's mind instantly went into survival mode. Thankfully I already have a plan for this, he thought to himself as he took out a pocket knife and cut off his collar.
"See you later old man!" Harry waved at King Midas with a huge smile on his face as he fell.
He pulled a hidden thread from inside his coat, which unraveled it and transformed it into a parachute.
I'm gonna go after him, thought King Midas as he was preparing to jump.
"W-wait my King! I just received a call. The Beast has struck again. B-but this time, it's in Aurumia..." Bartholomew informed King Midas.
"What?! Turn this helicopter around. This time... I'll deal with him myself," replied King Midas.
Huh? The guy in the cloak turned around? What could he be going back to Aurumia for? thought Bartholomew as he looked out the window at the bridge.
The pilot took them above the City Square in Aurumia, where the Beast was.
"We can't land, your Majesty. There isn't a helipad in sight," said the pilot.
"That's not a problem," said King Midas.
He swirled his hand around in a circle.
The golden base of the helicopter opened up, leaving a circle hole in the ground.
King Midas jumped through it and landed on top of a building's rooftop.
He snapped his fingers and the hole fixed itself.
He could hear the firing of guns and the screams of people in the City Square.
He started jumping from building to building so he could reach there in time.
Who could that be? Is that the same man Bartholomew saw? He doesn't seem like a man... More like a boy instead, King Midas thought as he saw that somebody else was also jumping from building to building to reach the Beast.
Now, King Midas had finally reached the center of the fight.
All he could see was bloodshed, destruction and at the center of it all, the Beast.
"This ends here you vile creature!" King Midas shouted as he shot a golden bullet straight in the Beast's head. "Now transmute."
Beast starts turning to gold.
What the hell?! I'm turning to gold? I'll kill that fool of a King, he thought to himself.
"You think you can mess with me old man? Let me show you true power," exclaimed the Beast as he took a syringe out of his back pocket and injected it into his arm. "This makes me bigger and stronger,"
Where did he get that from? King Midas thought to himself.
He was now fully gold.
"Hey soldiers! This might not be over yet. If he grows in size, the gold starts forming from the outside of the body. It takes some time for the internal body to freeze in gold. Keep your guard till then," King Midas informed the soldiers.
"Sir, yes Sir!" They all pointed their guns at Beast's golden statue.
"Umm... Excuse me Sir. There's a crack forming on the Beast's body," one of the soldiers tells the Squad leader.
Cracks started forming everywhere.
"Start firing men!" The Squad leader commands the rest.
The Beast breaks open from his golden prison.
He is now double in size, strength and agility.
"I'll kill every single one of you!" He exclaims as he tries to crush one of the soldiers with his massive fist.
As the fist comes crashing down at the soldiers, it gets stopped by a sword that's on fire.
It is the boy in the black cloak.
"Not on my watch," he says.
Who is he? Thought King Midas. And where did he get that sword?
