As early as dawn, Kintsugi has been running on the oval-shaped arena at High Periphery. Behind him, a group of female trainees can be seen pretending to jog, but they're really just trying to get noticed and catch a whiff of his cedarwood scent.
Meanwhile, outside his chamber, piles of fancy letters and delicacy boxes are accumulating. If Lotuslush craves sweets, she's welcome to take some; in fact, she sometimes packs them for her missions.
Kintsugi wore gray sweatpants, and the bulge seemed to suggest he wasn't wearing unmentionable, but the female fresh recruits' fantasies were cut short when they caught sight of the supposedly most beautiful Larkansas with aquamarine hair, Lotuslush Gorgeougal, who was seething with disgust.
Due to her talent in blacksmithing, Kintsugi asked her for a favor to sharpen his stiletto even more.
Kintsugi stopped running when he saw Lotuslush, but before approaching her, he took a drink of water from his tumbler.
Lotuslush tossed the scabbard aside before turning her back. However, wanting to make amends, Kintsugi ran to approach Lotuslush while he was wiping himself with a towel.
"Let's grab coffee outside?" he offered. "My treat."
"No need. I still have a morning workout. If you want to treat someone, you have plenty of choices behind you."
"How can that be when it's you I want to spend time with?"
"Enough with the pestering, Kintsugi!"
"I'll keep pestering you until you agree to go with me."
In the end, Kintsugi convinced Lotuslush to join him to Earth 78, a planet where, according to him, the most scrumptious type of coffee can be found.
They were inside a coffee shop on the top floor, where the employees were pandas wearing aprons. The view outside was of hills that looked like chocolate puddings. The two of them were each savoring their coffee - Kintsugi had an Americano, while Lotuslush had a cortado.
"In the five years we've been living our separate lives, didn't you get married?" Kintsugi asked.
"No," Lotuslush replied directly. "I focused more on strengthening myself on that frozen planet."
"You're so pitiful, having no one to cuddle with you when you're alone and cold. You probably just finger yourself."
Lotuslush gave Kintsugi a cold stare to make him stop teasing. "Not funny."
They both sipped their coffee in silence, but Lotuslush wanted to ask something.
"How are you and your Dracomeleons doing?"
The Dracomeleons were mythical Meadow Ferals that Kintsugi could summon. There were twenty Dracomeleons trapped inside his stomach, and only ten of them could be summoned and fused with him. Through Feral Fusion, Kintsugi gained extraordinary firepower that could burn an entire planet.
The Dracomeleons couldn't accept Kintsugi's decision to stay on Earth 690 because this planet would change him, but he did what he wanted anyway. Since then, he hasn't talked to them again.
"I haven't talked to them," Kintsugi replied. "They're still mad at me."
Their conversation was interrupted when their screens popped up.

MISSION
- Head to planet Helios 42 and bring annihilation.
•••
Speaking of the devil, Kintsugi gasped at what he read on his panel.
"I'll be bringing the vacuum cleaner on my next mission again."
Since they both had missions, they stood up, ready to part ways.
The two of them headed to the stock room of the coffee shop, where their portal back to the Upper Echelon was located.
The planet Helios 42 is covered in slime. It's home to the Blobbiboas - blob-like creatures that resemble gummy bears. Underneath the towering buildings made of hardened slime and gelatin, you can see the Blobbiboas in their corporate attire, carrying briefcases.
These creatures are known to be erudites and business-minded, which is why their world's economy is top-tier. These hardworking creatures have no idea about the impending end of their planet.
As Kintsugi watched from the highest clock tower, observing the citizens of this planet, he thought about the ordinary citizens on Earth 690. He didn't want to put himself in their shoes. He wasn't ordinary. He was made to kill and destroy.
He took out his stiletto, ready to do his job using the Humech Form, but he was distracted when he was suddenly surrounded by the armed forces of Helios, riding on air vessels.
He couldn't understand what the spokesperson for the peace committee in this planet was saying, but with the help of his voice assistant, Monaco, he had a translator.
"Greetings, visitor! Your sudden arrival has sparked curiosity. Are you a friend or will you bring us tragedy? I'm Blobright, chairperson and spokesperson of the Peace Committee of the planet Helios. Sorry about being surrounded by our military forces, but trust me, they won't harm you as long as we have a good relationship with each other."
Kintsugi didn't respond. Blobright's adorable nature made him want to pinch its cheeks, but he restrained himself.
"As Blobbiboas, we have a nature of being hospitable, especially when it comes to our visitors. President Blobvalor has invited you to a grand feast, and he hopes that you will accept his invitation."
Upon arriving at the presidential palace, Kintsugi was immediately greeted by the presidential guards and the media. Many wanted to interview him, but his mouth remained shut. He became the center of attention, but he remained unbothered.
"Can you reveal to us the purpose of your visit to our planet?" President Blobvalor asked him, displaying remarkable charisma. As he spoke, Kintsugi was being scrutinized by other presidents from different countries via video conference.
They were seated at a large table, and Kintsugi was sitting in a chair that looked like it was meant for a toddler. He wasn't sure if the interpreter would be able to convey his message accurately.
He was getting bored, and besides, he didn't like the dishes that had been prepared for him.
Kintsugi overheard the Blobbiboas' conversation, thinking he couldn't understand them. He didn't like what he heard.
"I think our guest wants to go home." Kintsugi froze when he heard his monocle-wearing interpreter speak. "Despite our shown hospitality, this creature is rude. It showed a rough demeanor."
"Maybe in their world, they don't teach good manners," the president said. "This one looks like it just lost its way. And look at its appearance - so harmless. It's just a waste."
Kintsugi grabbed his stiletto and swiftly slit the throat of the Blobbiboa interpreter standing beside him.
As the juice-like blood flowed from the interpreter's neck, Kintsugi withdrew two guns from his panel and riddled the Blobbiboas in the large dining room with bullets.
Since the feast was being live-broadcast, the citizens of Helios witnessed Kintsugi's actions. They were horrified, as it was the first time they had seen a live coverage of mass murder.
Kintsugi aimed his handgun at President Blobvalor, who was suffering from an epileptic seizure and crawling for his life on the floor as he tried to escape the crime scene. Then, Kintsugi shot him in the head.
"You looked cute and squishy, but deep down, you're actually quite prickly," Kintsugi said as he blew on the smoking nozzle of his handgun.
The SWAT team burst through the door. Kintsugi was stupefied because the shotguns they held were capable of disintegrating any object, yet despite their deadly weapon, they were still overpowered.
His mission was to annihilate, and he could only do that when he was in his Humech Form.
The presidential palace was surrounded by tanks, armored personnel carriers, and infantry fighting vehicles. Up in the air, fighter jets, bombers, and drones were hovering. Through a megaphone, the general demanded that Kintsugi surrender, pointing out that he was surrounded.
Kintsugi just grinned when told to back down. He slit his neck, and carbon fibers spurted out until he became a colossal humanoid robot, three times the size of the world's tallest skyscraper.
This robot is known as Yvestal Saint Bergamot. It features a propulsion system, energy shield armor, beam weapons, missile launchers, transformable limbs, and specialized sensors. The armed forces of planet Helios are now left dumbfounded by Kintsugi's presence.
The Blobbiboas underestimated Kintsugi and are now being decimated by his beam sabers and beam rifles. No monumental architecture, jaw-dropping building, or awe-inspiring landscape escaped his destruction. The elites, middle class, and underclass were all put in the same dire situation.
This act of Kintsugi's is considered extremely wicked, evil, and vile, but there's more to him than this. Witnessing innocent people, especially children, being cut down by his beam sabers pains his heart. Seeing nations destroyed by his own hands makes him feel incapable of depth.
"Based on what you're feeling and thinking, you're developing a sense of empathy, which is forbidden for a Larkansas," Monaco reminded him."
"Your opinion is irrelevant to the situation right now."
"It may be irrelevant, but dishonesty isn't part of my programming."
"Instead of reality-checking me, why not gaslight me so I can do this job?"
It was a grueling job for Kintsugi. When he returned to Upper Echelon, he headed to Dr. Englard's facility for a check-up. He had consumed a lot of Musk in annihilating planet Helios, and now he was feeling drained. He felt like the screws in his body were loose and his organs were cracking, needing to be repaired.
"You know Humech Form isn't advisable for obliteration tasks," Dr. Englard lectured, while Kintsugi lay on bedrest with tubes attached to his body. "Humech Form drains Musk fast; typically, Larkansas can only sustain it for 30 minutes, but you pushed it to an hour. In Feral Fusion state, your Musk quadruples, making planetary destruction much easier."
"But what's the point of being called a delinquent if I just follow the rules?"
"You're as stubborn as ever, Kintsugi. No wonder you're the Supreme Ruler's favorite."
"Yeah, his favorite. Favorite to punish."
Dr. Englard shook his head at Kintsugi's remark.
Kintsugi spent three days in Dr. Englard's facility, and after he recovered, the first thing he did was go jogging in the oval arena. No, the first thing he did was canoodle the nurse who had taken care of him.
