"Yingying, what's wrong with you!"
Xu Hao's voice suddenly pulled her from her memories back to reality, sadness enveloping her like dense seawater.
But Xu Hao continued to speak.
"Where's Tiantian? She didn't go causing trouble again, did she?"
"Qin Xu, seriously, why doesn't he let the child learn to be good? Yingying, you're already working so hard..."
Zhou Ying was momentarily startled and recalled the sight of Tiantian curled up in her father's arms.
She pushed Xu Hao away and stumbled over to Tiantian.
Looking at the bruises and bloodstains on the little figure in front of her, Zhou Ying couldn't hold back her tears.
"Daddy, why is it only after I leave that Mommy knows to feel sorry for me?"
Tiantian put on a sad little face and snuggled into my arms.
I bent my head and kissed Tiantian's little cheek.
"People only cherish something after they've lost it. Your mom is the biggest fool in the world."
Tiantian was momentarily stunned, then hugged my neck.
