I swiftly shut down the kindergarten.
No longer do I have to work myself to death taking care of those ingrates. I feel amazingly relaxed, waking up naturally every day.
An old classmate who had wanted to collaborate with me heard I was idling at home and quickly called me, inviting me to start an adult small dining table business together.
I immediately agreed.
Just as I was planning the new venture, a message suddenly popped up in the kindergarten's WeChat group mentioning me.
"No one is indispensable in this world, some people shouldn't think too highly of themselves."
The image attached was "kids' bowls full of meat, brightly packaged milk, and sliced fruit platters."
Heh, these parents really resent me to the core.
But after opening the picture, my heart suddenly sank.
As someone who has scoured markets buying supplies, I immediately noticed the color and texture of the meat was obviously off, and such heavy seasoning was likely to mask some flavors.
The milk cartons also featured brands I had never heard of, yet parents had the nerve to let their kids drink it.
I promptly warned the parents that the meat, eggs, and milk the kids were consuming were problematic, and eating too much could make them sick.
My warning also hit home for many parents.
At this new kindergarten, nearly every day, there are kids who end up with stomach issues and are admitted to the hospital.
Back when they attended my kindergarten, such stomach issues never occurred!
Many parents began to have doubts.
Could it be that the meals the kids are eating are really the issue?
That was when Qi Qi's mother chimed in, setting the tone to criticize me:
"Kids getting stomach trouble is because they had endured tough times before. Suddenly eating meat, their digestive systems surely can't cope."
"After a few days of adjusting, it'll be fine."
"I've already inquired; her kindergarten closed down for good because she didn't have any students!"
"The reason that vicious woman popped up to be sarcastic is nothing but a scare tactic, trying to make us send our kids back to her kindergarten!"
Upon hearing these words, parents dismissed the idea of sending their kids back to me.
"Qi Qi's mother is right, once our kids adjust, they'll be okay!"
"For the children's physical and mental well-being, no way we are sending them back to the pit!"
"This woman's intentions are so malicious, using defamation to force us to send our kids back! Wishful thinking! Even if my child drops out, I won't give her the satisfaction!"
Then, the group chat turned into relentless criticisms against me.
Some excessively bold parents even edited my photo into all sorts of ugly memes, posting them in the group to humiliate me.
I was so angry my hands were shaking, truly no good deed goes unpunished!
I promptly left the group chat.
Just wait and see, there will be a day you'll regret it.
