The night before the wedding, Xu Zhiheng sent me dozens of high-end wedding dresses, all in styles I liked.

As I was admiring myself in the mirror, an uninvited guest suddenly appeared in the room.

I was annoyed, having forgotten that Gu Sining knew my home's password.

Seeing me trying on a wedding dress, he, like usual, reached out to pull me into his arms.

But this time, I dodged him swiftly.

Gu Sining's face froze in disbelief as he looked at me.

In the past, I would have already leapt into his embrace.

Now, I just looked at him coldly.

Gu Sining awkwardly withdrew his hand, but upon seeing how I looked in the wedding dress, his eyes twinkled with pride:

"Fine, I'll apologize first, alright! We're about to get married, and yet you're still messing around."

"Is it just because you don't want to see me getting too close to Lu Yao? Fine, I won't pay her any attention, okay? She hasn't done anything to provoke you either; you're being too petty."

I resisted the urge to slap him twice. I had already clearly broken up with him, yet the fool still thought I was angry.

Seeing that I was silent, Gu Sining pretended to be full of passion and sincerity, took a ring from his pocket, and gestured to put it on me.

Just then, the comments started refreshing:

"Sister, don't wear it, this ring is what the female protagonist rejected! The scummy male lead is so stingy, proposing twice with the same lousy ring!"

A wave of goosebumps rose within me, disgust making me dodge directly.

Gu Sining didn't notice my change and continued speaking to himself:

"I promise to keep my distance from Lu Yao in the future, but she's still our sister. Let her be our bridesmaid, alright? She wants to witness our most beautiful moment."

I didn't respond, only stared at him.

I wanted to hear what more nonsense he could spout.

Sure enough, Gu Sining didn't stop pushing his luck.

"Yaoyao's grades aren't great, but she wants to study abroad. You've already sponsored her for four years of college, so what's sending her abroad for study again?"

I looked at him coldly and couldn't help but laugh.

How could such a shameless person exist in this world?

"Alright."

Gu Sining was taken aback.

He didn't expect me to agree so readily, becoming more convinced that I couldn't leave him. But little did he know, my "alright" meant I planned to send her to Myanmar for study.

"Miao Miao, don't worry, tomorrow I'll make sure you become the most beautiful bride."

He gazed at me deeply, left a parting sentence about meeting at the wedding tomorrow, and hurried out.

Watching him leave, I laughed.

Early the next day, the wedding was exceptionally grand, the guests numerous.

Gu Sining arrived in a formal suit, seeing the familiar setup and the wedding style he and I had once dreamed of while I lay in his arms.

This further convinced him I was just throwing a tantrum like a spoiled girl.

But as he adjusted the suit buttons ready to enter, the security at the door stopped him.

He looked at the guard in shock, angrily scolding:

"Are you mad? I'm the groom today, Wen Group's son-in-law! Who gave you the courage to stop me? Believe it or not, I'll get you fired!"

The security guard looked at him as if he were a fool.

Because at the same time.

Xu Zhiheng and I had already stepped onto the stage as bride and groom amidst the crowd's congratulations.
