"Brother Zhu, what's wrong with you!"

Xu Qing's voice abruptly pulled him from his memories back into reality, enveloping him in sorrow like the dense sea.

But Xu Qing continued speaking.

"Where's Hao Hao? He's not out causing trouble again, is he."

"Sister Wenwen is really something, how could she not teach the child properly? Brother Zhu, you've already been through so much..."

Zhou Zhu was momentarily stunned, then recalled seeing Hao Hao curled up in his mother's arms.

He pushed Xu Qing away and stumbled over to Hao Hao.

Looking at the bruises and blood on the little figure before him, Zhou Zhu couldn't hold back his tears.

"Mom, why did Dad only realize how much he cares for me after I left?"

With a bitter little face, Hao Hao burrowed into my embrace.

I bent down and kissed Hao Hao's little cheek.

"Only when lost do people appreciate; your dad is the biggest fool in the world."

Hao Hao paused, then wrapped his arms around my neck.
