Seraphina Rage

"You sneaky bastard," Eren snarled, wiping blood from his lip.

"Everything's fair in love and war… my love," I smirked.

Aurelia rolled her eyes. I glanced her way.

"You good? Can you keep up?"

She smirked.

"Better than ever."

"Good. Then let's beat their royal asses. You take on the big boo—I mean, big figure of her kingdom. I'll handle her smug brother."

"You've really changed."

I blinked. "What?"

Before I could ask, she charged. So did I.

My Shadow Sword clashed with Eren's blade, and damn, the guy hit like a freight train. Pain surged through my arms as he countered. But I smiled.

Because I didn't come alone.

"Doggo… finish him."

GRRRR!

Volkin burst from the shadows like a missile. Eren turned just in time to parry—

"Shadow Bind."

His body froze for two seconds—long enough.

Volkin clamped onto his leg, dragging him down, teeth digging into his VR-coded flesh.

[DING! Eren Whitehound Eliminated – 10 Players Remaining]

Across the battlefield, Noora gasped. Her brother was being chewed alive by a giant silver wolf. Not the cutest family reunion.

And Aurelia?

CRACK!

Lightning pierced the field, her blade slicing through Noora's chest like butter.

[DING! Noora Whitehound Eliminated – 9 Players Remaining]

"Nice teamwork," I said. "Doggo, nap time. Don't consume Mama's mana any further."

Volkin curled into the shadows like a good boy.

Meanwhile: Crimson Estate

Silence.

The living room of the grand Crimson manor was deathly still.

Ashen's mother, Lady Selene Crimson, blinked. , had her jaw hanging.

"I knew it. My baby! I knew he'd make his name one day. Always sharp. Always special!"

She clapped with proud tears.

His father, Lord Garrick Crimson, sat stone-faced. But the slight twitch at his temple said everything.

Pride.

And disbelief.

Meanwhile: Battlefield

The top players had taken notice.

Cecilia, Nyx, and Rin paused mid-fight as the system chimed:

[Eren and Noora Whitehound Eliminated]

They froze.

"Wait… What?"

Nyx frowned. "Who's even capable of taking down both Whitehounds?"

Rin narrowed his eyes. "Seraphina?"

Cecilia snorted. "Impossible. She can't accept help. Elven pride."

"Then who?" Nyx asked, scanning the battlefield.

They all looked up—and resumed their battle.

The top three had no time for mysteries. Their fight had begun.

Back to Me:

I was sipping shadow-coffee, feet propped against a crumbling statue, while Aurelia was… staring at me.

Again.

Not sure if it was awe, irritation, or fear.

Probably all three.

Then—

[DING! SIDE QUEST: Don't Let Rin Charm the Girls]

Objective: Interfere before Rin's harem grows.

I groaned.

"System, how are you still obsessed with his romantic wins?"

[System: Women are assets. You're losing them to the MC. Do better.]

I pointed toward Aurelia.

"Well, she's my bait—I mean, my partner now. Time for her to shine."

From afar, I saw it: a full-on magical apocalypse unfolding. A crater of smoke and energy. I couldn't even see the fighters anymore.

But I knew.

That was Rin.

Just meters away, I spotted Seraphina—lounging. Resting. Enjoying the view like she wasn't playing death tag with gods.

"Coward," I muttered.

[System: I know someone more cowardly.]

"Shut up."

I summoned a single goblin.

He looked up at me eagerly.

"Go to Seraphina. Tell her exactly this:

'You coward little elf. Scared pussy. You think hiding and backstabbing my master Rin will work? You're a stupid woman.'"

The goblin saluted and zoomed off.

From a distance, I saw Seraphina's eyes go wide.

Her mana pulsed.

Blood boiled.

She stood, trembling with rage.

She was about to storm into the fight.

"Perfect."

Aurelia looked at me. "Did you… just provoke her?"

"Provoked is such a harsh word. I merely motivated her."

Everything was perfect…

Until…

The goblin turned around and said:

"MASTER! I SAID EXACTLY WHAT YOU TOLD ME!"

"Good boy. Now run—"

"BUT MASTER! WHY DIDN'T YOU LET ME CUT HER EARS OFF? IT WOULD BE AWESOME!"

"You IDIOT—!"

BOOM!

The grassy ground swallowed him whole.

A single laser of elven rage disintegrated him.

And then… her stare met me.

"Oh… shit."
