Ava Westwood was only twenty when one night shattered her world.

A high school party she was never meant to attend. A blurred memory. A morning filled with pain, fear, and confusion. She couldn't remember what happened, only that something was deeply wrong.

Weeks later, the truth began to surface in the most devastating way, she was pregnant.

Struggling with silence, shame, and the weight of an unspeakable trauma, Ava finds herself alone judged by society, dismissed by family, and haunted by a face she cannot name. As she fights her way through the darkness, an unexpected light appears: Daniel Cruz, a wealthy, mysterious classmate who seems to care more than anyone else ever has.

But not everything is as it seems.

What begins as a tender, healing connection slowly turns into a dangerous spiral of secrets. And when Ava finally uncovers the truth, she’s faced with a horrifying realization.

"A STRANGER'S CHILD” is a gripping, emotional journey of survival, strength, and self-discovery. Told through Ava’s raw and honest voice, this story aims to raise awareness about sexual violence, the trauma it leaves behind, and the power of uncovering the truth even when it hurts.

While the summary caught my attention, it seems that the writer is a child themselves. How can a 21 year old be in highschool? Unless the person was held back and even so they would send them to night school to get their GED/highschool Diploma. You cannot mix adult students with underage students. Also when Nurse Collins told Ava that she is preganat she threatened to call Ava’s guardian? Like excuse me? She’s 21. She’s more than a legal adult. The writer needs to revisit what they wrote so that the characterization can make sense because so far it does not.
