Go. Go. GO!
Phoenix Tala jumped on his Screamin' Eagle V-Rod and hightailed it out of the Serious Moonlight parking lot. His inner Dire Wolf was chomping at the bit.
He’d always been able to sense and hear his animal inside his mind’s eye. The relationship between every Shifter and his beast was different, but Phoenix would have it no other way. Two minds, one body—and no one knew him better than the enormous buff colored monster snarling and scratching inside of him.
His animal was desperate to get on the road. About a year had passed since the Dire Wolf MC—that was what they called his Pack, so the normals around them did not grow suspicious—had settled down on the outskirts of Blue Valley, New Jersey.
It was the longest Phoenix had ever spent in one place. A full year of the same scenery and crowds. The same boring routine.
