The harried doctor wiped his forehead with a sterile cloth before repeating a slew of clinical terms to Jasper for the third time. It was an emotionally charged situation, made worse by all the medical jargon.

“The pregnancy has gone way past the typical nine months guideline that we use for typical humans. We’ve adjusted from what we know of Dragon Shifters, but those with human mates reported shorter gestation periods.”
