Chapter 13: Epilogue

evine spent the next day with Nicholas, helping Sunny, and her family put the store to rights. They’d brought in one of their smaller crews to help with remodeling the outdoor roof, though Sunny opted to keep the enormous quartz columns.

“They’ll remind me of you when you’re not here,” she whispered and nipped his lip.

He would have to get used to her PDAs, but that wasn’t so bad. Hell. Who was he kidding? Devine could not keep his hands off her and he loved the fact that it seemed reciprocal.

Christ, she was perfect for him. Here he’d thought the modern age had ruined his chances at finding happiness, but Sunny with her charming curls in wild, radiant disarray, her tight black leggings hugging her gorgeous ass, topped with a flowing, green blouse that she wore without a bra, and yellow Crocs on her feet, with little turkey charms stuck to them, could not have existed in any other time.
