Megan read the letter from her brother twice. She set it aside with a small smile as she opened the gift he’d sent her from where he was working overseas building housing for Shifters in South America who’d lost their homes during an earthquake. He worked for Hunter with Maverick Development now, and the Neta was doing his best to turn her baby bro into a man.


It was true some wounds took a long time to heal, but she was proud of him. She couldn’t wait till he came to visit. She wanted to hear all his stories about his trip. Matthew had a lot of growing up to do, and Hunter was a great mentor.


Cole would need some time before welcoming her little brother, of course. Her overprotective mate was still pissed off at Matthew for everything he’d ever put her through, and she couldn’t say she blamed him. After all, the should have felt the same way if anyone had hurt him.
