Chapter 15: Playing in the Pool

'Sigh... All this apocalypse business is disheartening...' He thought.

Yor kept a faint smile and entered with Miku Yuuki.

Yuuki gave him a charming smile and walked straight past him. Yor, on the other hand, stopped in front of him, leaned in, and gave him a seductive smile, saying: "So you're Caleb? The one who invited my little cousin to his house?"

Caleb's back was sweating, unsure of where she was going with her question.

"Yes, it seemed like she really liked swimming, and we had a big pool that wasn't being used on school days, so I thought I should invite her." He replied.

"Hmm, is that all?" Yor's red eyes gleamed mysteriously as she looked at him and continued walking. But her thoughts never stopped wondering: 'He doesn't seem like a person with bad intentions, but why do I feel something's off?'

"Hey, Marin! How you doing?" Miku greeted her.

"I'm feeling great." Marin looked at Yor: "It's been a while, Yor-san, it's good to see you again."

"It has been a while." Yor said with a smile: "You've become a very beautiful young lady since the last time I saw you."

"Haha, thanks~" Marin was happy with the compliment.

"Oh, want to eat something first? Caleb made it, he's an excellent cook." Marin said.

"Huh, sure, we haven't eaten anything before coming here." Yor replied, knowing her little sister loved to eat, and realizing Caleb made it, it was obvious her craving increased even more.

While enjoying the meal, Yor started speaking: "Your food is delicious."

"Glad it's to your taste." Caleb said with a calm smile.

As for his cooking, it doesn't fall short; he's always the one cooking while living with Marin and, over time, he improved.

"Oh, a lot of people at school were talking about the big change that happened with Caleb, did you know?" Miku said suddenly.

Caleb wasn't surprised. After all, he noticed it himself.

"What? Since when did that happen? Why didn't I notice?" He pretended.

"*laughs* A lot of people said you got more handsome." Miku smiled teasingly at him, wanting to see his reaction.

Caleb laughed a bit: "Well, speak well or speak ill, the important thing is they're talking about me. And if they're praising me, even better~"

Miku was surprised by his response but soon laughed a little.

Not just her, Marin joined in and laughed too.

They never stopped talking about things that came to their minds. At some point, Yor also started to open up and joined them, talking about funny things and experiences that happened in her daily life.

After finishing their meals, they rested for almost half an hour in the living room, having fun together.

Marin thought it was time for them to go swimming, so she directed them to the room that was directly connected to the backyard.

It was a guest room. It had a moderately sized bed and a private bathroom. After guiding them, she went back upstairs to her room to change.

Caleb followed her too, since they now slept in the same room. Inside, Caleb saw Marin taking off her clothes, unbothered by his presence.

He watched her put on a light blue bikini that barely covered her curvy body. Caleb observed her closely as he slowly walked toward her.

Caleb hugged her soft body from behind and caressed her breast with one hand. He kissed her shoulder, then her neck, and whispered: "You're so hot. I can't hold myself back."

Caleb went to give her a deep kiss on the lips while his hands roamed all over her body. Marin was breathing heavily when she started to return the kiss.

The passionate kiss continued as Caleb touched his cousin in every possible way. Inserting two fingers into her made Marin moan, while she pulled back, saying: "We can't. We have to go downstairs now. They must be waiting for us."

Caleb agreed with her and got ready himself too, not before kissing her and grabbing her butt.

Both went downstairs after making sure they looked the same as before.

They went to the room where Miku and Yor were, but saw they were no longer there and concluded they had probably gone outside first.

Upon reaching the backyard, the first thing anyone would see was the huge plant fence covering the entire area.

Their house had a security fence around the whole place so no one could sneak in. But the fences never covered the pool area, so they added a plant fence around it, tall enough to cover everything inside.

The entire backyard had a well-maintained lawn, a huge pool, and a small jacuzzi installed right in the corner near the house.

Their pool was so large it seemed disproportionate to the rest of the setting. It was one of the reasons Caleb liked that house.

It had an irregular shape, but its entire expanse was about twenty to thirty meters wide. The water on one side was about one and a half meters deep, but it got deeper until it reached about three meters deep on the other side.

It also had a small diving board, a slide, and, below it, artificial rock formations that sprayed water, making it look like a mini waterfall.

But in reality, it was just a sophisticatedly designed water filter. They had such a large pool that they needed a powerful filter capable of handling all the water.

There was a large green space right next to the pool that would be an excellent place to start a party, if there ever was one, and there, Caleb saw the two sisters lying on lounge chairs.

The lounge chairs they were lying on had waterproof cushions placed near the pool so people could sunbathe comfortably, even after soaking wet people lay on them.

Both sisters were wearing a sheer long-sleeved top over their swimsuits. Caleb got aroused seeing how attractive they were.

She had straight black hair, unlike Miku's. She never bothered to tie her hair, which gave her a wild aura.

Her body had a unique charm. Looking at it caused a feeling of seduction. Every movement of hers, combined with her perfect and enchanting body, made people stare at her a bit too long.

Miku's face turned red with steam upon hearing her sister's words. But her shout was ignored by her sister as she walked to the edge of the pool.

Yor did some stretches and then dove right in.

Caleb was impressed with her athletic body.

Yor swam for a few seconds.

"Come on, guys, get in here! The water's not cold! It feels great." It was already noon. The temperature was so high that the sun was already high in the sky. It was the perfect moment to play in the pool, and some people were very excited about the idea.

Miku quickly took off her top, leaving only her white bikini. Caleb couldn't resist the temptation and followed her with his eyes as she walked toward the pool.

Miku felt Caleb's gaze on her back but kept walking, feeling shy that he was blatantly staring at her.

In her mind, she didn't care. Caleb had already seen every part of her, so seeing her like this was nothing.

Just like her sister, she dove into the pool. She seemed to be enjoying it, swimming freely like a fish in the ocean.

Everyone had fun without caring about time. Miku was completely open.

Surprisingly, Yor and Marin became close. They seemed like best friends. Caleb didn't understand how that happened but was happy to see his cousin having fun talking with her.

'Unfortunately, this kind of peace won't last long.' He thought about the apocalypse and couldn't help but sigh softly.

The happier he was, the greater the sense of loss.
