The Forbidden Disciple

Lin Yuan woke up and found himself in a body of light. Before him stood his four mothers, glowing with spiritual energy. Confused, he asked, "Is this my soul body?"

Lady An smiled gently. "No you are in the pocket dimension now\.We changed our plane.You should join the Taiyin Sect. It's a holy place for cultivation."

Lin Yuan turned to the Golden Rock Bird and asked, "Why are you hiding in the pocket dimension?"

She looked solemn. "An ancestor of the Taiyin Sect is approaching. I must stay hidden. But don't worry,if anything goes wrong, I can stop time and take you away."

Then, he woke up. Back in his physical body.

Before him stood four women, looking down at him with mixed expressions. He blinked. "How did you come into my formation?"

A middle-aged woman stepped forward. "We made a hole in your formation and entered."

She turned to Lady Qingxuan. "What happened?"

Lady Qingxuan bowed. "In my journey, I made a friend. She helped me collect spiritual herbs. We were companions for two months. Yesterday, while gathering herbs, we killed a Boar King. She roasted it for us."

Lady Qingxuan's master looked sharply at the boar.

Qingxuan continued, "We ate it together, but she… she put an aphrodisiac in the meat. By the time I realized, it was too late. While fleeing, I became dizzy. I saw a big bird... and then I remember nothing."

Lin Yuan nodded. "I was on my way to Flowing Sky Pavilion. I saw a silver light and heard a great noise. I went to investigate and found her."

Lady Qingxuan's grandmaster narrowed her eyes. "Don't tell me you two used dual cultivation to detoxify yourselves."

Lady Qingxuan flushed. "Don't speak nonsense! The poison was so strong, he would've died."

Lin Yuan scratched his head. "What is dual cultivation?"

"You don't need to know!" Qingxuan snapped.

Her master looked to Lin Yuan. "What happened after that?"

Lin Yuan replied, "I tied her to a tree, gave her healing and mind-calming pills. She looked... unstable."

"Where is your disciple?" her master asked.

Lady Qingxuan stepped forward. "He is my disciple."

"But he is a man! You know accepting male disciples is a crime in our sect."

"He has long hair, smooth skin, a necklace, two bracelets. A beautiful face. He saved my life and asked to be my disciple. I was poisoned. I couldn't think clearly,but I was grateful.So I accept him as my disciple. 

Lin Yuan added, "I thought she was an elder of the Flowing Sky Pavilion."

Lady Qingxuan smiled. "Besides, he is strong. He killed that Boar King."

All eyes turned to the massive boar in disbelief.

She bowed. "Ancestors, this is my fault. We can disguise him as a girl. Please."

Lady Qingxuan's master turned to ancester. "Ancestor, help us."

The grandmaster sighed. "I see nothing. I was never here." She turned into a streak of light and vanished.

Lady Qingxuan pleaded again. "Grandmaster, please."

The grandmaster handed her a jade box. "This is an Impartial Weapon. It's for your safety. I was never here."

Lady Qingxuan opened it. "What is this?"

Her master replied, "It can reshape someone's body for disguise. It will soften Lin Yuan voice, add chest muscles, and alter his form temporarily."

She turned to Lin Yuan and handed him a shimmering outfit. "This armor will meld with your body. These are robes of a Taiyin Sacred Maiden."

She stored the boar in her spiritual ring and took out a massive sword.

Everyone stood up. She turned to Lin Yuan. "You may call me Grandmaster—or Sect Leader. I rule ten countries as the Outer Sect Leader."

She handed him a heavy spirit stone. "This is a high-grade spirit stone, one hundred kilograms. Can you lift it?"

Lin Yuan smiled. "My spiritual bottle can hold five hundred kilograms."

"Good." She nodded. "Here are a thousand ordinary spirit stones. And this token—"

She passed him a shimmering jade emblem.

"This grants you access to our libraries and markets. From now on, you are one of us."

She turned sternly to Qingxuan. "You are grounded for two years."

"Master, I must teach my disciple!"

"You don't need to worry. I can teach better than you."

She turned to Lin Yuan. "Our journey is long. If you feel tired, sleep. You are safe here."
