Prodogy X chapter 16

As Kazuma and Yuji stood along side each other with the star twins standing side by side against them, Ralfold explained "The rule are pretty simple. If you're unable to fight, you lose. If you surrender, you lose. If you make your opponent surrender or unable to fight, you win.". The star twins had malicious intents and looks in their eyes, Yuji and Kazuma were standing face to face with them. Yuji had a look of annoyance and irritation in his eyes while Kazuma had that unpredictable stare written all over his face purple eyes. Ranpo and Kojin sat by each other on the roof top of the stadium, Kojin asked with a smirk "Who do you think is gonna win?", Ranpo looked at his friend with a confident smirk "Its obvious, isn't it?", a man who seemed to be abit buff with yellow hair came along and stood by them "Yeah, it's obviously my team.". Kojin and Ranpo with a look of disinterest, looked at the man who sat by them "Oh, it's you. Andre Star!". Andre was an uncle and team leader to the star twin, he was also an arrogant man and was one of the strongest soliders of the city at the moment "Ranpo and Kojin, my biggest haters. How you doing?", Ranpo replied with a disinterested look and tone "My mood died when you dropped by.", Kojin added "My will to live suddenly burned away when i sensed you the second you dropped in.". Andre had a grin on his face with both eyes glowing yellow and having a small spark of lightning "Like I said, you're right, Ranpo. It's pretty obvious who would win.", Ranpo didn't like Andre in any way shape or form, he turned his eyes to his front to look at the fight "Yeah.", was the only word he uttered. Ralfold then started to count down "At your marks", both teams became tensed, "Get set!", the star twins were already slowly drawing out their short swords and guns while Kazuma activated his spirit mark and Yuji held his daggers that slowly glowed with blue flame like energy "GO!". Yuji wasted no time as he sent a huge slash of energy at his opponents, Monoma shot a bullet of energy with one of his guns to cancel the incoming slash out. The clash of both slash and bullet casued a huge explosion of energy that made the crowd of students go wild. Suddenly, without a word, Kazuma and Yuji rushed forward. Monoma and Kairo sneered as they blasted forward as well, Monoma wasted no time as he started spamming bullets of energy at rapid fire. Kazuma and Yuji were running and dodging these powerfull bullets of energy with skill and teamwork, they were blocking bullets for one another as they turned around and dodged relentlessly. Kairo came from above with two of his short swords, he went in for a slash, but Kazuma teleported himself and Yuji behind him. Kairo was in shock to what just happened "Huh? Teleportation? What the....", Yuji muttered "Surprised, bitch!", and gave Kairo a violent kick to the spine. This kick from Yuji sent Kairo flying, Monoma yelled with annoyance "KAIRO! OH YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR THIS!", he rushed forward at an alarming speed. As Yuji and Kazuma turned around, Yuji explained "Take care of Monoma, I'll handle mister two edges.", Kazuma replied "Sounds like a plan.". Kazuma created a small wall of energy for him and Yuji to press on for momentum and blast themselves forward. As Kairo was getting up, he saw Yuji flying towards him a lightning speed, he quickly used his two short swords to block the deadly stab that was about to come his way. As the two clashed, they immediately went into a blade battle, Kazuma on the other hand flew towards Monoma at an insane speed. Kazuma did a hand sign that caused short swords made of purple energy to start appearing all over his air space "Here I come pretty boy!", Kazuma taunted his opponent. Monoma got annoyed as he flipped the switches of his guns and started firing bullets that shot out of magic circles that appeared around him. The bullets of energy and the short swords of energy Kazuma and Monoma made, started clash like lightning. The clash of their attacks were causing huge explosions of purple and blue energy on their side of the filled. Everyone went wild, Mio yelled "KAZUMA, FINISHED HIM! YUJI YOU BETTER NOT HOLD BACK!", Regina yelled "YUJI, YOU CAN DO IT! KAZUMA, DONT LET THAT ARROGANT TWINK BEAT YOU!". The rest of the girls had nervous smiles on their face "Wow, they seem really happy.", Lydia muttered. Rachel replied "I mean, if White was out there fighting, I'd do the same thing too.", Lydia's face slightly turned red as she smiled in a slightly perverted manner "Yeah, me too.", Yuki and Rem were just silently watching. Kito, Volt and Baroka were paying close attention to the fight, not a single detail went by that Kito and Volt missed. Kito clenched his fist "Kazuma and Yuji seem to be neck in neck with the star twins. If they can over power them even for a second, they would instantly have the advantage!", Volt on the other thought to himself "Come on Yuji. If you don't teach those fuckers a lesson, then not a day would go by without me trying to fry your brain, and I mean it!". As Yuji and Kairo were having an insane blade clash, Kairo seemed to be having the upper hand due to his short sword being longer, but Yuji was calculated. Hie eyes were watching every move Kairo was making with his weapons, he knew when to strike, parry and dodge. Kairo on the other hand just wanted to deliver devastating slashes that would put Yuji on the hospital bed. Kairo flashstepped behind Yuji, he had an evil smirk on his face "Hey, I'm over here.". Yuji turned back and dodged the incoming slash that nearly took out his eyes. Kairo proceeded to kick Yuji backwards. Yuji stumbled but got his footing back, he instantly turned around the moment Kairo flashstepped behind him. Kairo said with a smirk "Gotcha!", but Yuji instantly kicked Kairo's short sword of his hand, did a twirl and kicked Kairo on the face. This kick from Yuji sent Kairo flying. As Kairo's blade was falling towards Yuji, he stretched his hand out and caught the short sword. Yuji pointed the short sword at Kairo "Here, let me return this back!". Kairo was stunned as Yuji preception blitzed him, appeared behind him, and then kick him a few metres back. Kairo didn't even have time to fully process the situation as he saw Yuji kick the short sword back at him. Kairo dodged the stab that could have nearly ended his life, the short sword flew to Kazuma who was having a devastating clash with Monoma. Monoma on seeing the short sword flying to Kazuma couldn't help but to smirk. Kazuma smirked back "You can see it too, right?", gave Monoma a kick to the jaw, tapped into the abilities of his spiritual mark which gave him the ability to teleport and switch places with the incoming object. This only gave Kazuma his distance and caused the sword to get closer to Monoma's face. Monoma ended up getting hit on the face with the short sword, Yuji kicked Kairo straight on the skull which sent him crashing towards his brother. Kazuma teleported to Yuji, they regrouped with each other and did a fist bump "Playing dirty tricks as usual!", Yuji said to Kazuma with a smirk, Kazuma replied "Yeah, I see you still have your sharp edge."
