Challenges Ahead

Tina *looking at her crying *Mom told me how we ended up here.

Mrs Williams *hugged her tears falling *I don't know what to say to you but we leave everything

to God.

Tina *hugs her back *I miss dad so much mom.

Mrs Williams *looking at her *I miss him too, my dear and I'm sure wherever he is, he is looking

at us and always loves us.

Tina *wipes off her tears * yes mom I know this witch used to cast a spell on him.

Mrs Williams *holds her mouth *they don't call her that please my dear.

Tina *looking at her *okay but mom are you sure she's not one, just look at how evil she is.

Mrs Williams *looking at her *no one can say she is yet because I know nothing much about her

neither do you.

Tina *stood up *it's okay mom am just happy that we got the house back.

They both smiled looking at each other and Gloria in her room while calling her lawyers to find a

way to kick Tina and Mrs Williams out of the house.

Tina then tells her mother about the trip at church next week.

Mrs Williams then said " you know that I don't feel comfortable letting you go anywhere except

you are going to school"

Tina says "I understand that mom even I don't want to go but Precious insisted that I go with

her"

Mrs Williams *holds her hand * oh I understand that so go with her am sure she will be lonely

there.

Tina *nodding *okay mom I'll think about it and then tell you what I have decided.

Mrs Williams *smiles and hugs her tightly*

Well, Precious tells her father about the trip and he said.

Mr Collins * watching TV *when is the trip.

Precious * sitting on the couch *next week the food and accommodation is provided please can

I go.

Mr Collins *smiles *yes you can go but only if you are going with Lisa.

Precious * hugs him * okay dad thank you so much.

Lisa*walks in *I heard my name here.

Mr Collins *laughs * you are not the only Lisa in this house.

Precious *looking at her *well can you please go with me to the trip next week.

Lisa *looking at her father *seriously dad, oh okay I will go with you besides I wanted to go too.

Mr Collins *smiles looking at the two of them *

Precious *hugs Lisa and kissed her cheeks *thank you, thank you.

Lisa *breaks the hug *it's okay take it easy girl.

Precious goes to her room excited and sits on the bed smiling.

Mike arrived home and sees his father asleep on the couch and goes to the kitchen making

lunch for himself.

While he was cooking Lisa comes out of her room and goes to the kitchen.

Lisa *looking at him *hey when did you get back.

Mike *serving the food *just a few minutes ago is Precious home.

Lisa "yes she is in her room"

Mike *eating *okay did you go to church today because I did not see you.

Lisa*looking at him laughing *look who is talking someone who has never been to church

before.

Mike " you still have not answered my question Lisa"

Lisa " I did not go.

Mike " why and I did go to church today"

Lisa *laughing *I'm sure it will rain warm water today.

Mike *looking at her *leave me alone I really want to enjoy my food.

Lisa *going to her room laughing *

Mike *eating *

Frank came to see Precious but Mike told her that she was sleeping and he decided to stay with

Mike until she wakes up.

Mike " my bro I hope there is no problem"

Frank "of course bro just that I miss her that is all.

Mike "oh I see so you both have not being able to see each other due to exams.

Frank "yes you know that she wants to always be focused on her studies these days.

Mike "yes and it's a good thing to do"

Frank *stood up*okay buddy let me go back home now.

Mike *stood up and escorts him out of the house *

Tina started cooking dinner and Mrs Williams is sleeping in her room, Gloria goes to the kitchen.

Gloria *looking at her * when you are done cooking make sure you serve me first.

Tina * sighs *

Gloria * sitting down * I will wait here until you finish the cooking I don't trust you.

Tina * cutting the tomatoes and onions and put in the pot * Are you okay this evening or

something has visited you.

Gloria * looking at her * are you talking to me.

Tina " no to your shadow, of course I'm talking to you"

Gloria " Do you know that I can take the food all of it and there is absolutely nothing you can do

to stop me from doing it.

Tina " try it ma'am and see if I will not put you in your place.

Gloria " look just cook quietly remember this is my house and also my kitchen"

Tina * laughing * if it like that what am I doing here and also my mom.

Gloria " Is it not obvious that you are both little witches and want to take my properties using

witchcraft"

Tina * done cooking served the food and goes upstairs without saying anything to Gloria *

Gloria *stood up and goes to check the pots and sees nothing inside *

She shouted and goes upstairs to shout at Tina, but Tina closed the door quickly and her mother

woke up hearing Gloria's shouting.

Mrs Williams " what is going on now"

Tina " it is that annoying lady she wants part of the food I made for you and me"

Mrs Williams " Tina my dear give her some of the food it is okay to share with her"

Tina argued with her mother and started eating her own food, Mrs Williams wanted to go outside

to give Gloria the food but Tina hid the keys.

Gloria got annoyed even more and goes to the kitchen takes a glass of juice and drinks it with

three slices of bread and goes to her room and slept.

Well, Precious wakes up and Mike told her that Frank had come earlier to see her and she told

him she is going to see him tomorrow before the exam starts.

The next morning Tina woke up and goes to Precious's house and they both walked together to

school, on their way they met Frank.

Precious " hey Frank"

Tina *walking away fast * hi.

Frank *hugs Precious * hey how is your morning going.

Precious "great and yours"

Frank " mine too by the way good luck on your exam.

Precious *smiles * thank you so much and good luck to you too.

Frank *breaks the hug and walks to his class *

Precious goes to her class and sees the others has started writing and she joins them and starts

writing too.

Well, Mr Collins is preparing to go to work and he sees Lisa at home.

Mr Collins " are you not writing today"

Lisa " well I am but I woke up not feeling well so I will go tomorrow"

Mr Collins " do you want to see a doctor or it is a normal sickness"

Lisa *laughing * dad there is nothing called normal sickness but I do not think I need to see one

just give me small money for medication"

Mr Collins * gives her money and leaves the house *

Lisa smiles as she goes to her room to sleep.

Gloria on the other hand plans to get rid of Mrs Williams and Tina for good by paying the family

lawyer and other gudges.

Tina finished writing and waited for Precious in the library with Mike and Frank.

Mike " so how was the test guys"

Frank " mine was great but only question 5 was a bit confusing"

Tina " Mine was a bit hard"

Mike " oh that is nice and bro even me question 5 was a bit difficult"

Frank " did Precious arrived late for the exam"

Tina " yes and I guess it was your fault"

Mike *laughing * bro what did you tell my sister that she can not finish the test on time.

Frank " just good luck nothing else.

Tina *looking at Frank *but the way she was smiling says otherwise.

Mike " hmm tell us about the smile bro"

Frank " well I do not know what made her smile so much"

Precious arrived while they were talking and they all stood up going separate ways.

Precious *holds Tina's hand *where you guys gossiping.

Tina *smiles *no we were just having a normal conversation.

Precious "oh really why did Mike and Frank walk away like that.

Tina "oh that they had something to do.

Precious "okay I understand that let us go home"

Tina and Precious goes back home and Precious doubts that they were talking about her but

she wonders what they were really talking about.

Precious asked Tina if she is hiding something from her but she said "no why would l do that my

friend"

Precious *looking at her *you promise.

Tina " yes and about earlier it was not that serious.

Precious "hmm so tell me about it"

Tina "well Mike asked Frank what made you smile so much today during exam"

Precious " oh so he saw me or you told him"

Tina " he saw and then asked me if I saw you smiling and I told him yes"

Precious *pull her ears * what kind of a friend are you huh.

Tina *laughing *ouch sorry I will not do that again.

Precious *upset *do not talk to me Tina bye.

Precious walked away from her but Tina tried to stop her from going but she did not listen to her.

Tina goes home but she is a bit worried about Precious and her mother sees that.

Mrs Williams " what happened why is your face like that"

Tina " just that me and Precious had a little misunderstanding"

Mrs Williams " oh but it is normal in friendship"

Tina " are you sure about that I do not want to lose her again mom"

Mrs Williams *shocked *what do you mean by again.

Tina "well we once had a misunderstanding few months back but it was caused by her friends"

Mrs Williams "oh I see but what caused it again"

Tina " well I saw her smiling earlier today at school and Mike asked me about along with Frank

but she got upset because when came towards us when we were actually talking about it, Frank

and Mike walked away from us"

Mrs Williams " oh but what they did was wrong it is like you were gossiping about her you have

to apologize to her"

Tina " mom I did but she walked away"

Mrs Williams " do it again until she forgives you"

Tina "okay mom I will do that"

Mrs Williams "that is my girl now go freshen up and come eat your food I am going to warm it

up"

Tina *going upstairs *okay mom.

Mrs Williams stood up and goes to the kitchen warm up the food and serves it, she goes to her

room and lays down on the bed.

When Tina was done she goes to eat her food and Gloria walked in the kitchen,she shouted at

Tina but Tina ignores her and goes to her room quietly.

Gloria stood there and said to herself " I will make sure you and your stupid mother will leave

this house"

It's nearly evening and Mike decides to go to see Tina at her house, he called her to come out

when he got there.

Tina*looking at Mike * hey.

Mike * smiles looking at Tina * just "hey" no hug nothing.

Tina *hugs him* happy now.

Mike *breaks the hug *no l do not want it anymore.

Tina *looking at him *oh come just that my mom is around so…

Tina could not finish what she was saying Mike was running away from her house, Tina looked

at him and laughed going inside the house.

Mrs Williams overheard her laughter and asked " what is making you laugh so much"

Tina " nothing just that someone fell while running outside"

Mrs Williams *looking at her*I am sure you did not say sorry to that person.

Tina *looking down* yes mom I could not control my laughter.

Mrs Williams " oh but it is bad to do that do not do it next time"
