"What is it?" Kael asked, his gaze narrowing slightly.
"I'll stay in the side house with her. Not here in this main house," I explained, my eyes drifting to the cozy structure visible through the floor-to-ceiling glass window of the drawing room.
It wasn't far. Just a few meters away, sharing the same side lawn with the main home. Technically, it was still part of the main home—but distant enough to give us the separation we needed.
That way, I could remain close to my mate-brothers. It wouldn't feel like I was abandoning the rule of always staying together.
"Just her and me," I clarified. "If not, then forget it."
