Chapter 18: The Troublemaking Snowfall

Yunjin looked at Ye Xi with a helpless smile before speaking, "Miss, I offended the Fourth Prince not long ago. So if you buy this mansion, the Fourth Prince might come looking for trouble."

Yunjin's voice was filled with resignation.

Originally, he didn't want to bring this up—he just wanted to sell the mansion quickly. But as a wealthy merchant in Tiandou City who had seen quite a bit, Yunjin noticed Ye Xi and her companions were dressed unusually well. Among the three, Ye Xi clearly seemed to be the leader. He was almost certain their identities were far from ordinary.

If he didn't mention this warning, he'd not only offend the Fourth Prince but also Ye Xi and her group.

"The Fourth Prince Snowfall?" Ye Xi retracted her gaze and calmly continued inspecting the mansion. There was no change in her expression.

Tianyao, standing nearby, yawned, showing no concern about any Fourth Prince.

Ling Yuan silently stood behind them, saying nothing, her eyes calm.

"Yes, the Fourth Prince Snowfall." Yunjin nodded seriously but inwardly felt hopeful.

From their expressions, he could tell that Ye Xi and the others weren't bothered by the mention of the Fourth Prince, meaning his mansion was likely to be sold.

"I'll take this mansion."

"Name your price," Ye Xi said, sitting down in a spot inside the mansion and asking about the price.

"Miss, I originally planned to sell it for 400,000 Gold Soul Coins, but if you want it, I can give you a discount of 50,000."

"Miss, what do you think?"

Yunjin looked at Ye Xi, probing.

"350,000 Gold Soul Coins?"

"That's reasonable, quite cheap," Ye Xi nodded gently and pulled out a Gold Soul Card to hand to Yunjin.

This price was indeed very low for Tiandou City. As for any trouble from the Fourth Prince Snowfall, Ye Xi didn't care at all.

After all, the influence of the Fourth Prince Snowfall wasn't significant in her eyes.

"Miss, please wait a moment. I'll go get the mansion's documents."

Yunjin took the Gold Soul Card, swiped the required amount, and went inside the mansion to fetch the paperwork.

Soon, Yunjin returned with the documents.

"Miss, please allow me two days to organize the mansion's belongings."

"After two days, you can move in."

Yunjin handed over the documents and the Gold Soul Card to Ye Xi, his tone cheerful.

"All right, we'll come back in two days."

Ye Xi accepted the card, stored the documents into her storage bracelet, and started walking out of the mansion.

Yunjin escorted them to the mansion's gate before stopping.

Just as Yunjin was about to say something, a young man dressed in luxurious clothes approached them.

Behind him were two guards clad in armor.

"You bought this mansion?"

The young man's tone was arrogant and disdainful.

"Miss, this is the Fourth Prince Snowfall," Yunjin lowered his voice to inform Ye Xi and the others.

Upon hearing this, Ye Xi glanced up and down Snowfall with no flicker of emotion.

Ling Yuan stepped forward, shielding Ye Xi and Tianyao behind her.

"Their clothing looks extraordinary. They must be quite influential," one of Snowfall's guards whispered into his ear.

"I can tell," Snowfall replied, scanning Ye Xi and the others carefully.

In Tiandou City, the only powers he dared not offend were the Blue Electric Tyrannosaurus family, the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect, and the Martial Soul Sanctuary.

Other forces didn't concern him much. If trouble arose, his uncle Prince Xue Xing would handle it. If Xue Xing couldn't, the palace's elder guest Dugu Bo would step in.

So even though Snowfall noticed Ye Xi's unusual appearance, he didn't care much.

"Hey, little girl, I'm talking to you."

"The rich man behind you must have told you who I am, right?"

"Either you leave now, and I'll pretend this never happened, or don't blame me if I sell you off at the Tiandou Auction House."

"Looking at you, you should fetch a good price."

Snowfall's eyes locked onto Ye Xi, showing full bratty arrogance.

"Ling Yuan, they're in your hands now."

"Remember, don't kill them. Let Xue Xing come to pick them up."

Ye Xi glanced at Snowfall, then patted Tianyao's shoulder, signaling him to enter the mansion with her.

"Second Miss, I know what to do."

Ling Yuan agreed, her gaze fixed on Snowfall.

After Ye Xi and the others re-entered the mansion, Ling Yuan slowly approached Snowfall.

With each step Ling Yuan took, a soul ring flickered beneath her feet, and her aura surged, pressing down heavily on Snowfall and his two guards.

By the time she reached him, she displayed nine soul rings: two yellow, two purple, and five black.

"Title Douluo..."

"Hit a brick wall!"

Just as Snowfall thought this, he felt himself lifted into the air and slammed hard onto the mansion's gate.

"Your... Highness..."

One guard tried to speak but was kicked flying by Ling Yuan.

"Go back and tell Xue Xing to come pick him up personally," Ling Yuan said, ignoring the guard as she helped Snowfall to his feet and led him inside the mansion.

The guard then turned and walked toward the prince's residence.

Inside the mansion, Ye Xi and Tianyao sat at a wooden table, while the previous owner thoughtfully prepared some juice for them.

"Second Miss, why ask for Xue Xing to come get him..."

Tianyao sipped his juice, glanced at Yunjin, but didn't continue speaking.

Sensing this, Yunjin wisely withdrew, not wanting to hear more from these two ladies.

After all, he knew well that curiosity could not only kill cats but sometimes people too.

"No matter how unfavored Snowfall is, he is still a prince. Killing him publicly would cause huge trouble."

"Better to use Snowfall as a bargaining chip to get some benefits from Xue Xing."

Ye Xi leisurely drank her juice, her tone calm.

After all, Ye Xi knew Snowfall wouldn't live long. It was wiser to exchange him for benefits than to create a public scandal.

Tianyao nodded, not fully understanding but quietly drank his juice.

At this moment, Ling Yuan returned carrying Snowfall.
