Since posting Chapter 28, I've looked back on Chapters 1 through 5 with new eyes.

The tone was simpler, the brushstrokes lighter. But now, after one month of growth, after slowly carving my Chinese and English into deeper form and letting *Wandao* catch up, I've come to realize:

The story deserves more. The world deserves to be heavier, quieter, deeper. The opening chapters must reflect the world that follows.

So I've begun the process of reforging Chapters 1–5. One by one. Slowly. Word by word. Not rushed, not patched — rebuilt.

These new versions are not just edits. They are complete rewrites, line by line, thought by thought, written in the mirror of what this story has now become.
