Ken's father was the Rosemoon pack's Beta. He sacrificed himself protecting my father, the Alpha, during an accident.
My father, consumed by gratitude, took Ken into our pack’s main family. He also revealed that the fates had destined Ken and me as mates.
I also felt indebted, and tried everything to win Ken's affection, almost to the point of fawning over him.
However, Ken always treated me with cold indifference, barely acknowledging my existence.
One evening, I was preparing a business plan to compete for a Sequoia Capital internship, he suddenly came to see me and asked about my core strategy.
I thought he had finally warmed up to our bond and excitedly shared all the details of my plan with him.
One week later, I discovered that his Omega sweetheart, Elise, had stolen my plan and submitted it as her own for the competition.
She ended up securing the only internship position and became the campus sensation.
Heartbroken, I confronted Ken about why he had extracted my ideas to help Elise.
He replied with utter indifference, "You're the Alpha's daughter, you lack for nothing. She's just an Omega with only this one opportunity."

Ken's words pierced my heart like silver-dipped ice, making my wolf tremble with rage.
He stood with his hands shoved in his pockets, his face etched with contempt.
"Princess, you already have everything. Why can't you spare something for wolves who have nothing?"
His words dripped with venom, insinuating that as the Alpha's daughter, I had every advantage and shouldn't compete with lower-ranking Omegas for this position.
I was the heir to the Rosemoon pack—trained at an exclusive academy—and returned each day to our estate where the pack’s best minds tutored me.
Ken continued, "You were born with Alpha blood, with resources beyond the reach of ordinary wolves. Don't think Elise can't measure up to you. If she had been born with your bloodline, she'd be a hundred times better than you."
My throat tightened, and my voice came out hoarse, " Do you know how much effort I’ve put into this plan? Since the work has been stolen, I will contact the company to clear things up and reclaim the honor that is mine!"
Ken's expression crumbled in an instant. He grabbed my wrist tightly, preventing me from leaving.
His grip was shockingly strong, causing me to cry out in pain, "What are you doing? Let go of me!"
Ken's voice trembled, nearly begging, "Don't do this. You'll ruin Elise."
Only when it came to matters involving Elise did Ken show such panic, because he felt he owed a different kind of debt.
Ken had fallen on hard times after his father’s death, leaving him an outcast struggling to get by.
Elise's mother often invited Ken over for dinner and her family treated his wounds after fights.
During those years lacking a true pack, Ken came to view Elise and her family as his own.
"Sometimes Omegas just need one chance. Please, can you give this chance to Elise? For the sake of my dead father, if nothing else."
Tears streamed down my cheeks. Whenever he brought up his deceased father, I found myself utterly defenseless.
Seeing that I was no longer insisting on exposing Elise, Ken let out a long sigh of relief.
Once again, he had leveraged my guilt to claim victory.
