Hidden rooms

When we arrived at the house, I didn't waste a minute and immediately threw myself on the bed. My headache was getting worse, and I needed to sleep it off. Hopefully, it would disappear by the time I woke up.

I slept for about three hours, and when I woke up, my headache had dramatically reduced.

Let me get some milk, I thought. I walked out of my room and requested a cup of milk.

"Please bring it to the dining room," I told the maid before leaving. I went to the dining room and was shocked to find Ruby eating alone.

"Ruby! Why are you here? I thought you left," I exclaimed, sitting beside her.

She sighed. "I told you, I'm not settled; I won't leave until the necklace thief is found. I have a feeling Bryce will send feedback today or tomorrow. I'll wait here until then."
