The Gift and the Cores of Oblivar

Meera stayed frozen on her knees, surrounded by endless, empty bookshelves that loomed like silent judges.

Not a single whisper, not a single page. Just silence. Crushing. Endless. Unforgiving.

Then—

A faint rustle. So soft, she thought it might be her breath. But no.

Something was moving. Floating.

She looked up, eyes wide—and there it was.

A book.

An ancient tome, bound in deep, cracked leather, glowing faintly as it drifted above her head.

Meera's heart pounded. For the first time since entering this world, she felt something other than fear—hope.

She reached out. The book floated just out of reach, taunting her—hovering like a secret waiting to be earned.

But no matter how far she stretched, she couldn't touch it.

Suddenly, the book stopped.

It stood still in the air, glowing with faint golden light, like a proud warrior awaiting acknowledgment.

Its cover turned toward her.

GIFT FROM GOD OF GAME

The letters shimmered, ancient yet alive.

Then, as if hearing her silent plea, the book began flipping pages—by itself.

Each turn was precise. Silent. Intentional.

The book was responding to her thoughts.

It could feel her.

For Meera, who had once only dreamed of magic, this was something beyond all tales.

It was real.

Her surroundings faded as her eyes locked onto the glowing text. Her hands trembled.

The page read:

"Congratulations, Meera, for reaching the Heaven Library."

"Now, I—The God of Game—shall reveal the truths of your new world."

"Its name is OBLIVAR."

"This is no game to play. It is a realm to survive."

"You were chosen. Not to win. Not to lead. But to endure."

Meera's eyes widened.

A world where survival meant everything?

A place where even gods forget the names of the dead?

Then more glowing words appeared:

⚔️ Power Rankings of Oblivar:

"This world respects only power. Age, gender, even morality—none of it matters here."

Dormant (2 sublevels): Powerless. Civilian tier.

Sparked (3 sublevels): First awakening. Volatile energy.

Ember (4 sublevels): Beginner combatant.

Flame (6 sublevels): Skilled user. Elemental aura begins.

Inferno (8 sublevels): Territory destroyers. Advanced aura techniques.

Abyss (10 sublevels): Forbidden users. Madness possible.

Celestial (12 sublevels): Manipulate space, time, or soul.

Sovereign (15 sublevels): "Named Powers." Rule-breakers.

Voidborn (20 sublevels): Reality-defying. Can erase existence.

Omega (??): Unknown. Legends whisper of them challenging gods.

Meera stared at the rankings. Her breath grew shallow.

So this is what awaited her.

Then another page flipped itself open.

🔮 Mana Core Evolution System of Oblivar

"Without a core, there is no control. Without control, there is no survival."

Each being in Oblivar carries a mana core—a soul crystal that fuels their power. The stronger it becomes, the more they can channel aura, perform skills, and survive Oblivar's brutal chaos.

Power ranks may show ability—but the core reveals potential.

🧊 1. Dim Core (Dormant)

Pale grey or white.

Fragile. Almost no aura.

Held by the powerless.

💧 2. Flicker Core (Sparked)

Glows faintly. Unstable.

Triggered by emotion, instinct, or trauma.

🔥 3. Ember Core (Ember)

Glowing red-orange.

Can store weak aura and basic spells.

🔥 4. Flame Core (Flame)

Bright red to yellow.

Enhances physical power and allows skill imprinting.

🌪 5. Infernal Core (Inferno)

Lava-colored, veins of violet.

Core begins to bind with soul-path. Risk of overheating.

⚫ 6. Abyss Core (Abyss)

Deep black with white streaks.

Grants access to corrupted or dual paths.

🌌 7. Stellar Core (Celestial)

Blue-silver hue. Radiates calm.

Can influence time, dimension, or consciousness.

👑 8. Sovereign Core (Sovereign)

Gold with dark veins.

Births "Named Powers" like Flame Law, Shadow Reign, or Mind Crown.

☠️ 9. Void Core (Voidborn)

Mirror-black, starlit from within.

Can collapse dimensions, absorb laws, or nullify magic.

🌈 10. Omega Core (Omega)

Crystal-clear, prism-like. Reflects soul color.

No limits. No known owner… yet.

Meera's heart thundered.

She finally understood.

She wasn't just thrown into Oblivar.

She was placed at the very beginning—no rank, no core, no guidance.

A test.

And maybe, just maybe—an opportunity.

Because the Heaven Library wouldn't show her this if she didn't have a chance.

She placed her hand gently on the hovering book.

It didn't vanish. It pulsed warmly, softly.

A connection was made.

From now on… this book would awaken with her.

And perhaps, one day, those empty shelves would fill—with her story.

To Be Continued...

✍️ Author's Note –

Hey Arcana Travelers! 🌌

Thank you so much for reading Chapter Six: The Gift and the Cores of Oblivar 💫

This was a special chapter for me to write because it marks the true beginning of Meera's magical journey in Oblivar. The Heaven Library is no ordinary place—and the floating book is more than a gift... it's her first ally, her first test, and maybe... her last hope.

I also introduced two core systems today—Power Rankings and Mana Cores. Trust me, they're going to play a huge role in shaping the battles, choices, and destiny that Meera (and others 👀) will face ahead.

If you enjoyed today's chapter, please don't forget to:
