"You're thinking too hard," Damien said, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I can hear the gears turning from here."


I sighed, tracing the rim of my teacup. "I'm just processing everything. Do you realize how many people photographed us during lunch? The tabloids are probably already churning out stories."
