I woke up with a pounding headache and the distinct feeling that something was wrong. Sunlight streamed through the curtains I'd forgotten to close last night, making me squint and groan. My body ached in places that brought flashes of memory—Kaelen pressing me against a tree, his hands everywhere, his mouth on mine.

I sat up too quickly, regretting it instantly as my head throbbed in protest. I was wearing Kaelen's t-shirt and nothing else. The events of last night came flooding back in vivid detail. What had I done? What had we done?
A soft knock on my door made me jump.
