CHAPTER 25: EMOTIONAL DILEMMA

Vansid's POV*

*TWO WEEKS LATER*

Huney: The food is nice, but disgusting at the same time.

Royalty: What?

She asked on the verge of laughing. If it wasn't Huney with her stupid hormones, I'm sure she would have already burst into laughter.

Me: Yeah, what do you mean, Cuddles?

Huney: it has taste. It's nice, but it does have oil, and the salt is not enough. Give me salt and chilli also, make is peri-peri from nandos please.

Me: You are having neither of those.

Huney: What?

Me: Yes, only aromat will do. Tee gets her the aromat.

Huney: But brother, I'm.....

Me: no Huney ypur blood pressure is too high today, and I'm glad Huney told me to come yesterday or otherwise you will be going against Royalty like every time.

Huney: But I.....

Me: No, buts.....yesterday I sent you a message and you didn't reply to me. I told Royalty to tell you not to each salty food, but you didn't listen to her. You went ahead and ate beef and salted peanuts. Maybe you don't want this baby anymore, and I can understand. Let's go. I'll open up and take her.

Huney: it's a he not a she.

Me: Whatever, but you heard me.

Royalty: Can we eat now? This is a dining table .

Me: Sure.

We ate our food with the grumpy Huney, but at least she ate. I guess she was so hungry because she couldn't ignore the food and just left. We finished eating and went to watch a movie since I'm not going to work today.

Tell you what, I was supposed to go to work, but then Cuddles here is having contractions, but she doesn't want to say it. So I decided to call someone to cover me. I wanna see what she is thinking because she knows what is happening, so not saying something means there is something going on.

Royalty: Huney, are you ok?

Huney: Why wouldn't I be ok? I'm ok.

Royalty: Well, I was just concerned because you have been moving a lot like you have some discomfort.

Huney: What are you......

She is already snapping. This is why I appreciate and respect women like nobody's business. They go through a lot for every one of us to be here in this world.

Me: she is fine, really. Nothing is wrong with her, right Huney?

Huney: Right.

Me: I'm going out for a little bit. I'll be back.

Huney: What!

Me: I said I'm going out. I'll be back in a few minutes . Why are you so shocked?

Huney: Ah ,I mean, I didn't hear you the first time. Sure.

Royalty: My love, can you bring me peanuts and raisins, cadbury?

Me: Ok, my love, I'll. Kiss Ainsle for me.

Huney: typical lovers. Don't irritate me, please.

I took my car keys and left. I went to my surgery and got everything that I needed to help Huney deliver her baby, even the ones for operation. Just in case things turn out and I need to operate her because you never know with Huney.

I just got in the surgery, checked, and greeted the patients before I left. Five minutes later, I was already home. I took my things straight to Huney's, and she wasn't there, so I just set everything on its position before i left and went to the sitting room.

I'm met by miss here sleeping on the floor facing up with her eyes closed.

Me: Huney, do you have a death wish? Sleeping facing up.

Royalty: I've been telling her that since you left, she just doesn't listen.

Huney: Brother, I'm not ok. Can you help me up.

Me: Finally.

Royalty: What do you mean by that?

Me: she has not been well since morning or even yesterday. Ypu mean to tell me ypu didn't see that?

Royalty: I didn't.

Me: What the hell! Royalty, so you mean to tell me that leaving you with Huney was useless, huh? It's like she was alone right.

Royalty just stormed out of the house without saying anything, and I'm wondering what I did now.

Huney: What have you done, Sid?

Me: Oh shit! I just......

Huney: Just let me go, ypu idiot. You forget so easily for a doctor. I can't believe you right now. One day, you are gonna give me the wrong medication, let alone someone who is not me.

Me: Oh my God, I'm sorry I just ....I just....I mean I got so carried by anger because of your actions.

Huney: Let me go. I'll go to the hospital alone....or maybe I'll deliver this baby with Royalty's help.

Me: You won't be able to go to the hospital because your water just broke and you know it. You think Royalty can help....just come on, let's go.

Huney: I don't want you to....aaaaah, ok OK, fine, let's go.

I walked to her room and when she got there she was surprised to see everything.

She came to the bed and slept with her right side.

Me: Come on, you know the drill. Always....

Huney: ......sleep with your left side yeah yeah I know.

Me: Good, I'm here. I'm just seated there. I wanna check something in your file on my laptop.

Huney: Sure.

I went to my laptop and started replying to my emails. Yeah, there is nothing. I wanna check in her file. I just want to pass time. Her water already broke, but she is still on 5 cm, I just have to wait for about 10 minutes and see if there is any change.

*A Few Minutes Later*

Huney: Brother, I think he is coming.

Me: You think, or you can feel her coming?

Huney: I don't know just....aaaaah just fucking kill me ok!

Me: Whatever.

I went to her and checked her and guess what, my girl doesn't want to come out instead she is busy doing something.

Huney: I know that face.

Me: I'm sorry but we have to do it there is no other choice.

Huney: oh God noooo!

I went out and looked for Royalty and guess what, she is sleeping sorting right at the door.

Me: babe wake up, I need your help inside.

She didn't say anything instead she just stood up and went inside and I followed her. When I got to Huney's bedroom Royalty was already there talking to Huney comforting her.

Me: let me inject ypu so that we can start.

I injected her then I started with the operation. I cut her and did everything necessary.

Me: please give me that sterile and also get that white towel.

She did as I said and came with the towel. I took the baby out and guess what, the babes is here. My cute niece.

Me: I always knew, I won women. Ypu owe me.

Huney: mxa will you just close me up before flies come and eat my womb. I still wanna have more children.

Me: oh is it? Because last time I checked ypu were scared to even tell us that it's time.

Huney: I was.....I was just not ready.

Me: exactly, that means you can't get pregnant again not soon because ypu are not ready.

Huney: but I....aah brother be easy and gentle, if it wasn't my stomach I would have closed myself.

Me: the princess is crying a lot Royalty please take her and bath her while I finish her mother.

She came and took the baby quietly and went into the bathroom. The way she is so quiet makes me nervous and worried. I now realise how damage I've done. Royalty went through a lot during her pregnancy period.

And when I say a lot, I mean really a lot. I was her gynaecologist, and so I know everything, even some things I was unable to tell her, even today I can't tell her. She went through a lot, but she never got to experience the labour pain, and in that case, she doesn't know even if she sees someone who is experiencing them.

She wouldn't have noticed that Huney is having the contractions because she has never experienced them, nor has she ever seen anyone experiencing them before. Yes, she told me that she has never seen anyone who is in labour, but my stupid head forgot all that when Huney was in pain.

Me: Come and sit here. I'll clean this.

Royalty: Just leave. I'll clean.

I know i should apologise right now, but I don't think it's the right time right now, so I'll just leave.

Me: Ok, I'll just go and sit in the...

Royalty: No! I mean, like, leave the house. Ypu have finished here. I'll attend her wound until it closes.

Me: But I.....

Royalty: no leave.

Me: Babe, I'm....

And she just raised her hand. I couldn't say anything, so I just went and kissed my niece's forehead, went to the twins' room, and kissed them too before I took my things and left.

*Puleng's POV*

Now its becoming annoying. I mean the bragging and talking all day about the twins, it's becoming worse day by day. I can't say he doesn't love my daughter Aliya, but at some point, I end up thinking that he is faking it.

I won't lie and say he doesn't love nor show the low towards Aliya because when he is home, he is always with her but he will be talking about the twins with her nothing else.

It looks like, what I always feared...
