Clash of Titans

The air itself burned.

The sky cracked.

And the ground wept blood.

The first breach came at dawn.

A tear ripped through the boundary between realms like silk set aflame—and from it, demons poured into the human realm by the thousands.

---

The Demon Vanguard Attacks

At the eastern border of the Ironshade Province, villages fell like paper beneath flame. Tier 3 beasts were torn apart and their spirits devoured.

The skies blackened as shadow dragons, blight crows, and bone ravagers screamed through the air.

Demonic horns blared.

The Third Legion had arrived.

At the head of it all was Khur'Zhal, a mountain of steel and malice, striding forward like a living calamity.

---

Aenya's Stand

Aenya stood on the cliff overlooking the valley, a thousand elite soldiers at her back. Though her shoulder had not yet fully healed from her duel with Ash, she raised her blade with full command.

> "Hold formation!" she barked. "Do not let them reach the Spirit Line!"

Her generals, all at Qi Manifestation and Core Vein, followed orders without hesitation. Spirit bows fired arrows laced with elemental power. Armored cultivators clashed head-on with demon knights.

The battlefield became a storm of steel, screams, and flames.

Yet despite all that…

They were losing.

The demons were faster, more savage, and led by a power that made the skies themselves shudder.

Khur'Zhal Enters the Battle

Khur'Zhal raised his greatsword—a ten-foot-long blade made from the spine of a dead god—and with one downward swing, split the battlefield in two.

Mountains cracked. Entire squads were obliterated in one wave of force.

Aenya barely escaped the shockwave, her armor torn, her breath ragged.

> "We can't hold…" she muttered, stunned.

And then…

> A trumpet blared from the west.

A golden aura swept the land.

The Grand General Arrives

Descending from the skies on a jade phoenix came a warrior clad in regal silver armor, bearing a lion-emblazoned cape. His sword pulsed with divine light, and behind him rode an army of elite throne cultivators.

> "Worry not, children," the old man thundered. "Your ancestors still breathe."

> "General Xu Wulong has arrived."

Aenya's eyes widened.

> "That's… Lian Rou's grandfather…"

> "He's a legend," one general whispered.

> "No, he's more than that. He's the Demon-Breaker."

---

Clash of the Titans – Khur'Zhal vs. Wulong

The two titans locked eyes from across the ruined field.

Khur'Zhal grinned.

> "It's been a long time, old lion."

Wulong raised his blade with a slight smirk.

> "And you've grown uglier, hellspawn."

Without another word, the two vanished from sight—

—only to reappear mid-air in a thunderous clash of blades, the shockwave flattening everything in a two-mile radius.

Lightning bent around them.

The earth cracked.

Throne-level power collided as two of the strongest beings in the realm exchanged blows.

---

Soldiers Rally

The battlefield paused.

Both sides stared upward as the sky erupted in a rain of gold and black.

Inspired by the general's presence, the human army surged.

Aenya, bloodied but defiant, led a spear charge, cutting through demon infantry with renewed fury.

> "Push them back! While the heavens roar, the earth must rise!"

---

The Cost of War

Even as the humans gained momentum, the battle remained brutal. Entire cities along the border were still in danger. Thousands dead. More wounded.

Wulong and Khur'Zhal's battle grew wilder—every slash a tempest, every parry a quake.

They moved across the sky, crashing into mountains, vanishing and reappearing in bursts of speed few could comprehend.

Each was smiling now.

> "You were always my favorite opponent," Wulong growled.

> "Then you'll love dying by my hand," Khur'Zhal bellowed, swinging his blade in a dark arc that bent space.

Back in the Sanctum

Far away, underground in the Yin-Yang sanctum, Ash still lay unconscious.

But the echoes of battle…

The pulse of two world-breaking forces clashing…

…reached even the heart of the sealed shrine.

> Shen Mu stirred in alarm.

> "If Khur'Zhal kills Xu Wulong… then even this realm will fall to ruin."

The Yin-Yang Lion's spirit growled.

> "Then the boy must awaken… soon."
