Hop hop hop town.

I was going my way when I reached hop hop hop town. I remember this from the anime. In the anime this city was suffering from strange events due to Hypno using it's psychic waves on human. 

I was on my way when I met Alain and Mairin.

"Alain, Mairin it's been a while since we have met haven't we." Me

"Sure have been. I saw your battel in the competetion. It sure was great."Alain.

"Yeah. It sure was." Mairin. 

"Thanks guys." I said 

"So what you guys were up to since the last time we met." Me

"We went to visit some ruins for some field reserch for Prof Sycamore. He believes that there may be a new type of energy like z moves in alola which can enhance a pokemon's power in battel so we are reserching as such." Alain stated.

"Yeah it was super fun to see the deep ruins and we encountered some trouble also in some places but it was all well." Mairin.

"Hmmm so you are the two mysterious guys who are researching about top secret project for Prof Sycamore." I confirmed. It was in the science forum all over.

"Oh also congrats on discovering two new evolutions of eevee." Alain stated.

"Yeah they are so cute. Both of them." Mairin.

"Yeah, currently I have only released their photos. After oficially getting my certificate as junior proffesor I will explain all about them in a conference." I stated.

"Whoa that's so cool." Mairin said with stars in her eyes.

"It is really impressive." Alain.

"Thanks guys." I said while chuckling a bit. We talked a bit while heading to the pokemon centre when strange activities begun. Posters of missing kids, lethargic pokemon and many more. There were some kind of waves in the air though that part was obviously not noticable to everyone.

"What's happening." Mairin stated.

"Something's not right." Alain.

Suddenly chespie also began to feel week.

"Chespie are you okay." Mairin asked franctically.

"We should head to pokemon centre and ask nurse joy." I said. We left in a hurry and reached pokemon centre. There from Nurse joy we found that these incidents of missing kid and unwell pokemon had been happening for two days. I remember it being three days after which the protagonist trio arrived.

"All these pokemon are not feeling well and I can't understand how should I treat them. Especially this psyduck. And oh my god what I saw was shocking. Unlike misty psyduck this one was a shiny and of champion class.

'Nelly I don't remember there being a shiny in anime.' I asked Nelly through my mind link.

'Host this psyduck is the same as misty psyduck.' Nelly stated.

'What the- No way am I letting anyone take this psyduck away from me. I remember it not being able to evolve even when Ash reached Alola. So I will capture it instead.' I though with determination.

'You just want a strong one right host.' Nelly stated clearly put off by my self righteous explanation. I was embarrassed but did not deny it. Suddenly officer Jenny arrived. She came in hopes to find any clue about the missing children. Though suddenly at that time an emergency occurred so nurse joy was not able to help in Officer jenny's investigation. 

She though saw us and so asked us some questions about the centre. We answered the best we could. Damn if I want that psyduck I guess I have to help them out.

"Um Officer Jenny. I feel like there are some waves in the air. Very weird one. I don't know. Maybe because of that." I said vaguely sounding confused. Her eyes lit up at that. 

She used one of her waves detecting machine and it was found that there were indeed some waves in the air. She was about to leave to find this source when...

"Officer Jenny can I help you." Mairin asked.

"What." She was obvously very surprised at that.

"My chespie is also a victim of these waves. I want to help, for my chespie." Mairin stated passionately. We all were surprised.

"Officer let me also help."Alain stated.

"Huh." Mairin.

"Well as much as I find it annoying how you keep following me I can't just sit here and let you put yourself in danger. You don't even have any other pokemon besides Chespie." Alain stated.

"Well I also want to help." I finally stated.

"Huh." Both Mairin and Alain.

"You think I will let you have all the fun without me no way." I said while smiling teasingly. They smiled back at me.

"Okay then. Besides your sponsers are trusted name so I will let you all join me. Though I would not appreciate it if any of you got in my way during my work." Officer Jenny stated strictly. We just nodded and followed with her.

On the way we somehow arrived it the park and we saw the stragest thing ever. The missing children whose poster officer jenny was pasting were there but they all were acting like pokemon's.

We soon reached a huge building and went to the top floor. The waves were starting to get stronger ensuring us that we are on right track. We reached the top to see a mansion there. On entering it we saw several people wearing high end clothes. 

"Umm excuse me sorry to interrupt but..." Mairin tried to say politely but...

"We think that somehow knowingly or unknowingly you are releasing some waves that are making the pokemon feel extremely tired and children to disappear." I stated blutly. Everyone just gaped at me but it's not like anything illegal is being done for me to use my words to worm my way out or something. 

Plus it may have shown as a happy ending in anime but it must have traumatized some of the children. No one likes to be controlled. Imagine someone hypnotized you to act like a dog. To bark, nuzzle your head against someone just like how a dog would do to its owner etc. 

It must be same for the pokemon also. No one likes to dance on others instructions. One example was misty psyduck. In the anime it's dumbness must be a comic factor but now that I think about it, though psyducks are dumb it is unusual for them to be scared of water or using psychic powers randomly and not on it's trainer command.

"I am sorry for sounding rude. I did not meant it to sound like that but you all must know how traumatising it must be for the children and the pokemon right now. I hope you will coperate with officer jenny right now." I said politely. It calmed them down and made them smile.

"A fellow pokemon enthusiast I see. Don't worry we will definitely aid you in your investigation. Though I still don't think the waves are being released because of us." An old gentleman said.

"Huh what do you mean by 'A fellow pokemon enthusiast' " Mairin asked. 

"You see we are members of pokemon fan club" One gentle man spoke.

"We love pokemon. We all have been having sleep problems recently so we take the help of our hypno who we have trained hard when it was drowzee so that it can learn hypnosis." The gentleman spoke. We all became alert at that.

"Umm are you by any hance using hypno's hypnosis attack for your sleep." I asked nervously.

"Yes why? Is there a problem with that." The gentleman asked confused.

"Actually we have had some cases for missing children and now also for pokemon showcasing weird behaviour. And we have a reason to believe that it was because of the waves being released by hypno." Officer Jenny spoke.
