Training and Eight badge

Alain and Gary left on there own path. I after resting for two days also returned back on track. If Giovani is that strong then I have to begin training. I decided to hand one potential enhancer to Blastoise and now it was of psudo Champion potential. 

I have two more left. I decided to give one to Gengar and save one after revewing others performance. Now I had two psudo legend pokemon. I remebered the togepie egg I had bought back wondering how long will it take to hatch.

Flashback-

"Host your egg pokemon can be of higher potential if you chose to submerge it under its essence. Will you buy the fairy type essence for one million points. You can take a loan if you don't have enough points though the egg will take longer to hatch." Nelly stated.

I decided to train for a month in Sevi Island. My loan with Nelly had finally been repaid though I was again broke as a result. I had also booked online slot for Viridian gym battle. There were only three months left. I have to train so that I can win the league. 

Third pov-

Unknown to Regina both Gary and Ash were shaken to there core after watching the gym match. Ash had seen the gym match online. 

He decided to train alone away from his friends in Cinabar Island. Gary also after much insistence to his grandfather with his influencewas able to get permission to train in Mt. Silver. Alain though not participating also decided to train near the ruins of Alph.

One month later-

I went to Viridian gym. After sixty my pokemon growth rate was really slow. Gengar was the best example. He was caught for so long but only advanced ten levels in the whole year. Its high potential helped him level up faster but that also had its limit.

Wait what. The guards let me in. 

"Welcome Regina. You want to fight me huh." Giovani said. He continued to speak but I did not focus on that. I saw a ball continuously in his hand. It emited a dark energy. Gengar break that ball. I whispered to gengar hidden in my shadows. 

"Try to win against the ultimate pokemon Mewtwo." Giovani. There was Mewtwo standing between me and Giovani when...

"Argh aaaaa" Giovani screamed. A black aura coming out of him before he fainted. Gengar had broken the ball. A black shadow of a man appeared in front of us.

"You you pest. I will kill you." It said. Suddenly all my pokemon came out.

Venasaur, Nidoking and nidoqueen used gunk shot. Aerodactyl used giga impact. Clefable used dazling gleam. Glaceon used blizard. But his strength was overwhelming. Heck fighting ghost wasn't in my bucket list.

He shot one dark pulse type moove and my pokemon were severly hurt. 

"You have troubled me long enough you pest. Now its time for you to di-"

"Charizard use flame burst, Nidoking poision jab, Persian use thunderbolt, Golem use rock slide, Rhydon use hyper beam, Ductrio mud slap." Giovani now younge? called out. Mewtwo also used psybeam on it.

"You you You-"

"Host use this light card" Nelly.

I used it and suddenly

"Argh aaaaaaaaaa" It screamed and began to dissipate. 

"I will be backkkkk" It vanished. Giovani came towards me.

"You have helped me escaped. Thankyou very much." Giovani said. Wait he looks much younger right now.

"Ummm your welcome but how the heck do you look so young." I asked confused. 

"What!" Giovani asked shocked. He looked at himself. 

"This was how I looked when he took hold of me. That thing." Giovani said shocked.

"Your body is 21 currently." Mewtwo spoke suddenly. 

"That was when he captured me." Giovani said. He then turned to me.

"Thankyou for saving me. Guess I have to turn myself in now." Giovani said.

"Wait. It was that thing that did those horrible things not you and is it recorded." I said.

"But how am I suppose to explain them about my deaged sittuation. And no not recorded." He asked.

"Does anyone know about you being team rocket leader." I asked.

"No. He hid my face well. To them I am Garvolo." He stated. 

"Well you can hand the league there information and state that during your research on ground type pokemon something unexpected occured and you somehow deaged." I stated. 

"They might not even believe the fact that I am Giovani." He said.

"Thumb impression. Biometrics." I stated. 

"Thats a good idea. Though can we postpone the match after a week. By then I am assuming I will have solved all this and Mewtwo." He said while turning to him and pressing a button. The armor fell to the ground.

"I am sorry for whatever happened with you. I cannot change the past but. I am setting you free." Giovani stated. He widen his eyes but nodded and teleported to who knows where.

One week later-

Thankfully the league accepted his reasons. He also tried to change team rocket's path. Some followed him the rest who rebelled where ousted to the league officials. He also changed the team name to Team M.

 In all these years he was only able to control his body while training and batelling. So his love for pokemon increased ten fold. Now it was time for my much awaited gym battle.
