Aarav's POV
It had been a few days since the kidnapping incident.
Aisha — Bunny — was back to being her usual self: sarcastic, stubborn, and unreasonably adorable.
But something had changed too.
She stayed closer. Her hand found mine more often.
And when I looked at her — really looked — there was no more hiding in her eyes.
She trusted me. Fully.
And I didn't know how I'd gotten lucky enough to earn that.

Morning – Aarav's Apartment
Aisha was standing at the kitchen counter, trying (and failing) to make coffee.
She had tied her hair in a messy bun and was wearing one of my hoodies again.
Aarav (grinning):
"You know, every time you try to act domestic, my kitchen cries."
Bunny (glaring):
"Your coffee machine is too complicated. Why does it have buttons in French?!"
Aarav:
"It's Italian."
Bunny (shrugging):
"Same thing."
I walked over and gently took the mug from her hands.
Aarav:
"Sit. I'll make it. Before you set the place on fire."
She sat with an exaggerated sigh and muttered, "Drama queen."

Later – Office Setting
We'd gone back to work that day.
Somehow, everything felt more… grounded. Real.
Bunny's POV
I was typing an email when Aarav peeked into my office.
That smug, too-handsome-for-his-own-good smile on his face.
Aarav:
"Lunch?"
Bunny (pretending to be busy):
"Too much work."
He walked in anyway.
Aarav (serious tone):
"You almost got kidnapped last week. You're having lunch."
Bunny:
"Using my trauma to win arguments? Smooth."
Aarav (smiling):
"I'm the CEO. I'm allowed to abuse power."
I rolled my eyes and got up. He caught my hand and pulled me gently toward him.
No kiss. Not this time.
Just our foreheads touching.
And in that small silence, there was more love than words could hold.

Night – Bunny's POV
As I lay in bed, I stared at the phone.
One message from him had come in ten minutes ago.
> "Sleep early. You need rest. And dream of me — obviously."
I smiled.
Maybe life wasn't perfect.
But with him… it felt close enough.
