Supernatural Power? (2)

"Supernatural power?" Arya repeated, her tone seemed to be filled with disbelief. "I don't think that you would believe in such a thing."

If there were people with supernatural power, that war would not have lasted for such a long time and resulted in such casualties.

Arya didn't say the rest of the sentence, but Aries knew very well what Arya meant. She chuckled. "That's the legend and who knows if there are people who truly believe in it…"

Even if it sounded like utter nonsense.

The two of them would never express their real stance clearly. After all, their relationship with each other was not very good and it was clear that neither wanted to talk about this kind of thing. 

Whether they truly believed it or not, it was up to them. 

All evidences had been erased in the long International War and no one knew whether the statement of people with supernatural power exist is true or not. Perhaps, some people knew the truth but they remained silent and it has never been announced to the public. 

"I believe in science," Arya said calmly.

"Indeed." Aries chuckled. 

At this moment, Arya had arrived at the wall and climbed up to one of the observation rooms. She was monitoring the place and looked outside the wall.

Unlike the prosperous city or it could be called country behind them, the scene in front of the wall was an utter destruction. Due to the existence of the active radioactive out there, not many people dared to come out even with the protective suit.

Because the risk of getting out was that they might get sick and possibly never recover in their entire life. 

Who would dare to take such a risk?

At least, not many people dared to do so.

There was already a safe perimeter set up to prevent others from getting close to the dangerous areas. 

"But whether you believe in it or not, I think that you will be interested to know that there's someone who had taken an interest on you," Aries said slowly.

"Oh?" Arya arched her eyebrows as she set up her equipment. This place was perfect to watch the pickup location. 

"Do your job well and there might be reward at the end."

After that, Aries cut off the call.

Arya smiled faintly when she heard that and looked outside. It seemed that the information she has been waiting for so long could be accessed soon. This made Arya somewhat happy yet also nervous. 

Because she knew very well that there was still a lot of tests waiting for her ahead. 

If she couldn't pass these tests, it was obvious that she would never be able to get the information that she wanted. 

'You better not block me… Miro.'

In the first two years of joining the organization, she was tossed to the training ground and had been waiting patiently while learning various skills. She had to admit that the organization's training was really good and it helped her to know many things. 

Of course, she still avoided real physical confrontation as much as possible. 

She didn't want to be asked to fight anyone and if possible, avoid being the one to take action and only focus on gathering information.

Seeing the figure that was completely dressed in protective suit, Arya arched her eyebrows.

She moved her hand to check the real surveillance and nodded when she saw Miro's action of stealing the protective suit and then wiped the surveillance. After all, he had replaced it and it was Arya who hacked onto a small camera just to take a look at his action. She didn't want to fail him when he had been doing quite well. 

'So he also knows how to hack.'

Outside the wall, Miro was walking towards the designated point carefully. 

He had purposely picked the suit that has similar color with the environment to make it easier for him to hide his figure. 

"It's here."

Miro found the box and without opening it, he made his way back. The mission stated that he only needed to weight it instead of opening it because it might be damaged if opened outside the wall.
