The beautiful dark sky was full with a brilliant constellation and a pink flowery nebula that gushed a streak of milky pink hue in the sky, in addition with the full blue-white resplendent moon, which together gave off a feeling of a new world to anyone who saw it.
However despite its magnificence, it seemed as though some region deflected its fall of glorious light.
In a valley, darkness engulfed the entire region with an egotistical purpose, perhaps. Mysterious sounds belonging to different kinds of animals walked about this place, inducing timidity and a feel of loneliness. Only the small fire flies were the possible source of light in this dark valley.
If a person was to walk alone this path, his or her death was certain. Even if they were two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine ten, still their end was as precise as fate.
Such being its nature was it named "A layer of evil".
And when I say nature, yes whether daytime or night, that's how this valley appeared; it was widely known through the Eight villages, hence no one dared invade this odd region.
However as usual, there's a saying that a neglected path by many is a bestowed path to someone...
Under the unbelievable watch of the full moon, a figure seem to appear in the dark valley, walking along the deadly path alone with no sense of others around.
It was a boy! A boy!
He had short neat hair that was smooth and soft like a cake, thus creamy, in simple yet clean clothes complemented with a pair of big black-white eyes seeming to flash an indifferent look momentarily and a pale skin.
Although his skin was pale, perhaps due to the destination he has brought himself, yet he had a trace of determination in his eyes that was imbued and resolute.
On his back, heavy woods were tied firmly at rest with their ropes hanging around his shoulders and tied around waist firmly, so he could maintain a firm composure and not fail to let go of the load, for that would be a cost for both the carrier and the load, perhaps resulting in a cost-ninety work; it was apparent in the indifferent eyes of the young bloke.
Even to be as fast as 2.1m/s striding along this dark valley's path could already be considered deadly, yet this young bloke who seemed very indifferent was out there lumbering footsteps; his young body couldn't possibly carry the load as it was. And by look, the young boy was no older than 10 years old, yet he carried the load of about 5kilograms!
If it was to be any of us, the slightest try of walking along this valley wouldn't have come into our consciousness due to its terrifying features embedded in our minds.
However it was totally different from this young boy's doing. He was from farm, heading home with extreme weakness due to overworking and some sort of injuries, one would have expected he would come home empty, instead he came along with a very heavy load which also seemed to weaken his body and limit his life span, unknowing how to further proceed the long journey home, he had no option but to take the deadly path because it was simply the shortest way home!
He vigorously pulled the ropes around his body and tightened the load on his back so it wouldn't fail its composure.
Sweat exuded him non stop as he slowly walked onward.
Suddenly his face and eyes which stood determined slightly changed, and fear and Panic glimpsed a rise in them.
It's been a very long day at farm, alone. He single handedly wed a very large portion without giving up! Unfortunately for him, he was bitten by a ferocious viper which hath a rare viscous poison. Although it wasn't that of a robust size still its poison was very dangerous.
The young boy had applied some herbs and herbal juice on it and even drank some, the danger of the poison reduced just by two steps.
Today was an unlucky day for the young bloke.
Sometime after treating the poison in his system, he went to a nearby crystalline lake to fetch for drinking, but then...
Unknown from where, a wild crocodile bit the helpless boy.
With the crocodile's situation, either if it was an accident or not, it was quite a mystery.
6 spots of a viper bite on his left forearm and that same left hand, did the wild crocodile bite!
One should know both animals are dangerous kinds because their bites carry a deadly toxic which can paralyze one instantly or possibly take away their lives.
Moreover, we both know there's another risk of being bitten by a wild crocodile....?
These two harmful toxics panetrated into his veins and weakened his cells gradually. But you see, the annoying part is that it really didn't show any dangerous effect as it's expected to be, leaving a trace of doubt.
The boy was bleeding though, which was very bad, however as a well trained chemist, he easily got rid of that in the shortest possible time. Afterwards he planned to carefully treat the toxics in his body because he knew that although no serious side effects had shone yet, but there was a danger at the corner.. it's just that he had doubt of it causing him any further trouble especially when he had temporally but well treated them.
Unfortunately, his plan was stolen by a sign of a heavy rainfall which came along with a sudden change in atmospheric appearance and horrify darkness plus a heavy wind which blustered about like it was insane.
He quickly changed( as in change of clothes) and made the required preparations to leave. He did it quickly and came along with a waiting heavy woods pack for firewood when he reached home. 'Even if it's not good of him, at least it could help reduce the cost of sources of fire for some period of time, even if not long'.
As soon as the boy set his foot out of the farm, he forgot about his full treatment because there's a saying that, ' to doubt never encourage ascertaining '.
From what the boy said, the farm was as far as 2 kilometers away from his home, but to him that wasn't a thing he payed much attention to, because he too was quite fast that he would reach the short possible time.
Everything went well on right clean path as the boy ducked his way home trotting along the mountain ranges.
There's a saying that, 'a drop of suspicious blood, remembers a missing loss'
The boy who was cheerfully trotting home started to feel weary when he'd only covered one-third of his journey. He bled from his mouth, nose and ears simultaneously and non stop. His heart skipped countless beats as though it's stopped function for a moment, and his mind roamed endlessly with numbness.
The boy was gravely hit by the deadly effect of the lethal toxics, when he recalled he had to carefully treat his wounds, it was quite too late.
Specifically, it was too late because he was quite a distance from the precise herbs he immediately needed to treat his wounds.
He'd promptly urged for some some but it seemed as though they all had little effect on him, some didn't have any effect at all, and even some worsen the case, Like adding phosphorus and chlorine.
Later on the case worsen to the extent that he had to sleep beside a mountain and wait for a long time to gain some energy.
At last he woke up and the pain and pressure the toxics were bringing him had reduced although, but the slow kill was still in progress.
He struggled to back to his feet but now his vision blurred. Nevertheless at that moment, even a blind person could tell night has fallen.
The boy barely managed to set off with a strong will power of reaching home, even if not in one piece (his knew the importance of his presence).
He walked onward until he reached the threshold of paths leading home, then did his a thought come in mind when his gaze flashed to a sight.
Yes, the dark Valley was the shortest way home amongst all the paths, however its terrifying name which held the capability of causing one to tremble for a day long , was a problem to worry about here.
But the perspective of ours was totally different from that of the young boy's.
His eyes changed a bit as he looked through the way of the dark valley which was quite odd. He himself knew he couldn't clearly see a thing, yet he chose to take the dark road!
Instantly, not knowing which power erupted from him, he took in a deep breathe and let his curiosity win over him again. He took off steps towards the dark valley, I think subconsciously!
Momentarily his pain aggravated and he felt it alone which made it risky, plus he took the dark valley's path which made it even deadly.
