The Awakening of Miro
[Sónia's Perspective]
Sónia woke to a whisper in her ear. Gentle, like a mother's voice... but cold, like the touch of a corpse.
"He is ready."
She sat up with a gasp.
Beside her, Miro was no longer sleeping. He stood before the distorted structure he called the Temple of the Living Mirror.
"Miro… what are you doing?"
He turned slowly, his black eyes gleaming under the pale morning light.
"I'm just knocking on the door, sis."
She approached, hesitant. The structure of twisted iron and stained stones pulsed, as if it had a beating heart inside.
"What… door?"
Miro smiled.
He stretched out his hand.
And touched the central mirror — a circle made of darkened glass, surrounded by nails and pieces of bone.
The moment he did… the world trembled.
[Henrique's Perspective]
Henrique dropped to his knees in the cafeteria as the earth shook. Shelves collapsed, cans rolled, screams echoed.
But this was no ordinary earthquake.
The walls… were whispering.
"Henrique… Henrique… Henrique…"
He ran outside, where the sky appeared cracked with black lines.
And he saw it.
From the center of Miro's "temple," a rift floated in the air, like a living wound, bleeding black smoke and spinning symbols.
Miro stood before the rift.
But he was no longer alone.
[The Entity Awakens]
A figure emerged from the rift. It didn't walk — it glided, its body wrapped in a cloak of shadows.
It had no face, only a mouth sewn shut with golden threads, and eyes like holes of nothingness.
At the sight of it, Sónia screamed.
Henrique drew his sword, even knowing it would be useless.
Kiala appeared beside him, alert.
"This is not from this world."
"This… is a Veil Dweller."
Miro, however, remained calm.
"You came?"
The creature bowed before him.
And a voice cracked through the air, though the creature's mouth never moved:
"The mirror called. The veil answered. A cycle has been broken."
Henrique rushed forward.
"What the hell are you?! Get away from my son!"
But as he approached, the creature raised its hand — and Henrique was thrown back against an invisible wall, as if time itself had frozen.
"Silence, echo. This is the mirror's moment."
[Silas's Perspective]
Silas watched everything from the shadows.
He smiled.
"He opened the rift."
"The anchor has given way."
"Now the Empress will have to act."
He touched his chest, where a dark tattoo in the shape of an empty heart began to pulse.
"And I will be ready to betray… whoever is necessary."
[Miro's Perspective]
Miro stared at the creature.
"Are you here to protect me?"
The mental voice replied:
"I am here to remember."
"Remember what?"
"Who you were. Who you are. And who you will become."
The creature extended its hand.
It touched Miro's forehead.
And images flooded his mind:
– Palaces of mirrors shattering beneath thunder.
– Armies kneeling before a boy with eyes of shadow.
– A woman in red begging for forgiveness… before being silenced.
Miro fell to his knees, crying blood.
"I… I was a monster."
The creature knelt beside him:
"You were a weapon. You were a child. You were Vós."
[Henrique's Perspective]
Still trapped within the barrier, Henrique screamed:
"Enough! He's just a boy!"
Kiala looked at him with both pity and respect.
"He's not anymore."
Suddenly, the creature turned to Henrique.
And spoke directly to him for the first time:
"You forged the most dangerous weapon in this world with love."
"Now choose… will you keep loving him?"
"Or will you kill him… before he kills everyone else?"
[Lívia's Perspective – The Crimson Empress]
The Empress, seated before a throne made of thorns, opened her eyes as she felt the rift.
"He… is awake."
A handmaiden knelt before her.
"Minister, the seal of the Living Mirror has been broken."
Lívia stood. Her red dress bled by itself, as if made of living flesh.
"Send the inquisitors. Send everyone."
She looked toward the south.
"Miro… my son… my curse… my debt."
[Final Scene – Miro's Temple]
The creature began to unravel. Its essence returning to the rift.
But before it vanished, it whispered to all present — in the minds of every survivor, as a psychic brand:
"The mirror lives.
The echo awakens.
The world… is no longer what it was.
Choose a side…
before the veil is torn for good."
The rift vanished.
Miro collapsed, unconscious, into Henrique's arms.
But the shadow it left behind…
would never go away.
