"Silence That Fell From the Sky"

Early hours of Sun Day in Shiora…

Naraka sat alone on her throne, gazing at the sky above. The silence was pleasant—until it became too quiet.

A gentle breeze passed by and whispered in her ear: "Go check on him."

> Perched on a tree branch, hidden among the leaves, sat a boy with a book.

His small hands clutched a tome far too large for him. The letters danced confusingly on the page, but his eyes glowed—quietly, curiously… lost in his own little world.

The world may have been blind to him, but Naraka saw her reason to smile.

Without a sound, Naraka appeared beside him — standing on the very same branch.

She leaned in close, her voice a soft breeze:

"What are you doing up here, little raven?"

"What are you doing up there, little raven?"

Nujah flinched like a cat, and his foot slipped.

The book tumbled from his hands. But he never hit the ground.

She had already caught him—her arms soft, warm, and steady as the sky itself.

With a red face, Nujah immediately turned his eyes away and muttered:

> "Put me down… please."

Naraka chuckled and held him close. Then came a short, gentle exchange:

---

Nujah: "I… I just wanted to read. It was quiet here…"

Naraka: "Silence speaks the loudest sometimes. But you chose a lovely spot."

Nujah: "I didn't think you'd find me."

Naraka: "No book outsmarts me. Especially when it hides one of my children."

Nujah: "I don't understand all of it. But I like it anyway."

Naraka: "Then read to feel it, not to solve it. The greatest power is born from what you feel."

Nujah: "…One day, I want to be the kind of person who writes a book like this."

---

At that, Naraka didn't put him down—she pulled him even closer.

Resting her forehead against his, she whispered:

"Then you write it. And I'll read it. Every word."

Leaves rustled gently in the breeze. That day, the sky above Shiora held no war…

No darkness.

Only a memory — of a mother and her child, in a moment that would echo long after the stars forgot their names.
