Operation: Bear Den Season 2 Chapter 4

A few days later...

> "While still holding Mitra close in his arms, Nujah watched as she slowly opened her eyes. He smiled sleepily and whispered:"

"Thought you went into hibernation, little bear."

Mitra grinned faintly, eyes half-closed.

"Then let me sleep a little longer, papa bear..."

But from the shadows, a sharp snap echoed through the room—snap!

A ray of sunlight pierced through and landed right on Mitra's forehead.

Naraka, arms crossed and voice firm, stepped into the light.

"Alright, that's enough. Up. Time to wake up."

She walked closer, her tone sharp but caring.

"He's been here for days, sick, and still taking care of you. Try being more thoughtful, granddaughter."

The moment Mitra heard that voice, she shot up like lightning.

Both she and Nujah turned quickly toward Naraka.

Nujah gave her a weak smile and looked away.

"…I can't feel my leg, Mom."

His tone was dry, trying to hide his discomfort.

Naraka and Mitra rushed over and helped him up.

As they supported him, starting to walk him back toward his room, Mitra suddenly stepped in front of the door and blocked it.

"I'm fine, really—" Nujah began.

But Naraka raised a hand and interrupted coldly:

"You're staying in this room for one full week."

"And for every mistake you make… I'll add five more days. Don't even think about sneaking your father in here."

Mitra froze, eyes wide.

Then she stood tall, arms at her side like a soldier.

"Yes, ma'am! Mother of the Universe! Greatest enemy of darkness!"

She gave a stiff salute.

Naraka raised an eyebrow.

Mitra quickly added with a nervous voice:

"…Okay, Mom."

And without another word, she backed off and sat down quietly.

Nujah chuckled and ruffled Mitra's hair.

"That's my girl."

"Remember, Naraka is the Mother of us all. As long as you stay under the light and behave for seven days… I've got a surprise for you."

He winked.

"A little exercise might do you some good—makes time pass faster anyway."

"See you in a week, little bear."
