The night over Zion's Edge was quiet—but not at peace.
A pale mist coiled through the abandoned sectors of the city, reaching even the outer border where Exo-Saint operations were said to end. But tonight, something breached that invisible boundary. A presence. A watcher.
Meanwhile, in the underground chapel of Saint Module 07, Abraham knelt in silence, his body still aching from the encounter with the Leviathan Mech in Chapter 10. His hands were bandaged, his chest still carried the burn mark where the corrupted relic had touched him.
Saral stood nearby, her arms crossed, watching him. She was no longer just a team leader; her heart was at war.
"Why didn't you tell me?" she asked softly, voice barely above a whisper.
Abraham didn't respond. The shadows flickering from the candlelight danced over his expressionless face. His eyes weren't there—they were watching something far away.
"Abraham," she stepped closer, her voice now sharper, trembling. "I saw the footage. When the Leviathan's core exploded, you shielded everyone... without your exo."
He exhaled. "I didn't use an exo."
"That's the problem!" she snapped. "You moved like one. No, faster. Stronger. Like… one of them."
Silence again. But then—
"You've heard of the Genesis Saints?" he asked suddenly.
Saral blinked. "That's a myth. The original ExoSaint prototypes. Half-biotech, half-spiritual constructs. They were wiped out—"
"No," he interrupted. "They were hidden. Recycled. Buried in systems no one could decode."
A glimmer of blue light sparked from Abraham's palm. Brief, but unmistakable. Not energy. Not tech. It was… spiritual.
Saral stepped back. "You're… a Genesis Saint?"
Abraham slowly stood. "I don't know what I am. I only know that the more I help others, the louder *He* becomes."
She frowned. "He?"
Abraham looked upward, the ceiling of the chapel above him glowing faintly, as if responding. "The voice in the fire. The one who called me 'Son of Dust.'"
Before Saral could speak again, an emergency alert blared through the chapel wall.
**\[Code Black: Infiltration Detected at Sector Alpha. All Saints report immediately.]**
The chapel's lights shifted to crimson.
Saral turned to run—but Abraham didn't move.
"Abraham?" she called.
He closed his eyes. The voice returned.
> "They come for what you carry. The Ark inside you. Do not run. Burn, child. Burn for Me."
His chest lit up, and the burn mark flared—revealing an ancient symbol no one had seen in centuries: a flaming cross, with seven wings encircling it.
Saral gasped. "That's—"
"Revelation Class," Abraham whispered. "It's awakening."
A sudden quake shook the entire compound. Screams erupted from the command tower. And then—
Darkness fell. Not just power failure—real, physical *darkness*, crawling like a beast into their world.
From it, a voice.
"ExoSaint… Found."
