16 Bomb Cat, Reporting In!

"What do you want that thing for?!"

Sherwin was momentarily stunned before he asked back, half-laughing and half-crying.

Sure, the original Sanji was obsessed with getting the Clear-Clear Fruit, and everyone knew why he wanted it. But that reason clearly made no sense when it came to Sanji Meow!

As a Felynes, even though Sanji Meow usually wore a chef outfit, it wouldn't have made any difference if he didn't. After all, he was essentially a cat — even without clothes, he was still covered in thick fur.

So Sherwin couldn't figure out why Sanji Meow wanted the Clear-Clear Fruit at all...

Could it really be just to stick to his character?

In response to Sherwin question, Sanji Meow furry little face lit up with a rippling grin.

"Once I go invisible, I can boldly run up and rub against the Beautiful big sister Felynes and groom their fur, meow!"

Sherwin: "..."

The way he used "boldly" and made it plural was… impressively bold.

Even though the reasoning was slightly different, at the core, the desires of the two Sanjis weren't really any different.

But still...

"You cats have good hearing and sense of smell, right? Would going invisible really stop you from getting caught?"

"Oh, right!" Sanji suddenly realized. His mood visibly deflated, but he quickly perked up again and asked with undying hope,

"Then is there a fruit that can make you invisible and cover up sound and scent, meow?"

"I don't think so…" Sherwin replied with a dark line running down his face.

"Ahem… I was just asking randomly anyway, meow…"

It seemed that Sanji Meow was feeling a little awkward under Sherwin scornful gaze, and realizing his reason wasn't all that decent, he straightened up and forced out an explanation, offering a relatively proper justification—

"Besides, I'm not a combat cat. The power of the Flame-Flame Fruit is pretty strong, right? It'd be a waste on a chef cat like me, meow."

"Mm…"

Sherwin nodded. That reasoning actually made quite a bit of sense.

Though based on how much Sanji Meow stuck to character, Sherwin figured this cat wouldn't be lacking in combat talent either.

Switching to a combat Felynes would probably be easy. But if the cat himself wasn't really interested in fighting, then Sherwin naturally had no reason to push him.

As for future run-ins with slave traders or even Celestial Dragons…

He just needed to make himself strong enough.

Don't underestimate the resolve of a seasoned cat-lover!

Besides, maybe he'd be able to summon things like Saitama Meow, Kakarot Meow, or Saiki Kusuo Meow—Felynes with ridiculous combat power.

Sherwin let himself daydream with optimism.

Speaking of which...

A sudden flash of inspiration struck Sherwin.

At the same time, Sanji Meow, synced perfectly with his thoughts, jumped up and shouted first: "Sherwin! Check the Hunter Manual, meow! Devil Fruits aren't native to this world, right? There should be a new page unlocked, meow!"

"You read my mind."

Sherwin chuckled and rubbed Sanji Meow head before pulling out the Hunter Manual.

Sure enough, a new section called "Devil Fruit Index" had been unlocked, containing information related to the Flame-Flame Fruit.

As Sherwin turned to the page, a white light flashed across it, and a long, narrow "bookmark" emerged from the crevice between the pages…

So only the first time comes with a full cutscene, huh?

Sherwin complained silently, then picked up the obviously much longer and fully intact paper strip.

Probably because Devil Fruits were also considered rather special in the One Piece world, this time the summon ticket wasn't a fragment, but a complete one.

So my cheat is actually kind of generous…

Sherwin smacked his lips and carefully examined the summon ticket in his hand.

Then he noticed that the text on this summon ticket wasn't what he had assumed—"Felyne Companion Summon Ticket"—but instead read "Companion Summon Ticket" with a small cat paw icon next to it.

Other than that, the appearance of this full summon ticket was also different from the previous fragments.

The fragments had a beige background with light gray patterns, but this one had a fiery red background with orange-red patterns, evoking the image of flames. Even the patterns themselves contained elements that resembled fire…

Sherwin subconsciously glanced at the Flame-Flame Fruit sitting nearby. There was no way the two weren't connected—he didn't believe that for a second.

So… would using this ticket summon Ace Meow or Sabo Meow? That some heavy crossover content…

Sherwin scratched his head. Not that he was complaining or anything—though Sanji Meow might be a bit disappointed.

But that was secondary. What really mattered now was quickly summoning the new Felyne.

So Sherwin pinched the summon ticket and raised it high into the air…

"Come to think of it… how do you even use this thing?"

He slowly lowered his hand and turned to look at Sanji Meow a little awkwardly.

"How would I know, meow?!"

Sanji Meow, who had been so nervous he was almost holding his breath, grabbed Sherwin hand and chomped down on it without hesitation.

"Maybe you have to say it out loud?"

That kinda embarrassing…

Still, after a brief moment of hesitation, Sherwin quietly called out toward the ticket in his hand, "Felyne Companion—summon!"

As soon as he spoke, the ticket in his hand ignited by itself.

"So it really is voice-activated… Did my cheat never consider what would happen if I was mute?"

Sherwin muttered to himself while quickly letting go and taking a few steps back, giving enough space for the incoming Felyne.

And the summon ticket hovered in midair for a moment before it was completely consumed by flames, dissolving into a wisp of bluish smoke that drifted away in the wind…

"So, where the Beautiful big sister Felyne?" Sanji Meow looked around, then grabbed the corner of Sherwin shirt with his little paw and questioned him sternly,

"Didn't you say you could summon a new Felyne? Where is she, meow?!"

"I don't know…"

Sherwin spread his hands, glancing around as well, trying to locate the summoned Felyne.

Could it be that his cheat summoning system hadn't been implemented yet? No way he'd be that unlucky, right?

Just as that doubt crossed his mind, a burst of fire suddenly lit up deep in the forest, followed by a loud boom, startling a large flock of birds into flight.

"What the meow just happened?!"

Startled, Sanji Meow tail fur puffed up all at once. With his ears flattened back like airplane wings, he nervously looked toward the source of the sound.

Then...

He pointed at the flock of birds now soaring through the sky and shouted, "Ah! It the new Felyne Meow!"

Sherwin followed the direction of his little paw but saw only a cluster of tiny black dots representing birds in flight. He couldn't tell which one was supposed to be the new cat.

But he didn't have to wonder for long—because one of those black dots was rapidly growing larger, and in the blink of an eye, it was right in front of him.

"…Isn't this summoning method just a little too explosive?"

Sherwin grumbled as he quickly adjusted his stance and caught the cat flying straight toward him.

"Awuu… the experiment failed again, meow…" The fluffy little bundle in his arms let out a cute whimper, then gave a shake and lifted her head. Her ruby-like eyes sparkled as she looked up at Sherwin and exclaimed with joy,

"Ah! It Meowster big brother, meow!"

The Felyne in front of him had very obvious kitten-like features. If compared to a normal cat, she looked to be about one or two months old…

Sanji Meow being eight years old was already pushing it, but this one—judging by appearance—was probably only around three or four. At most, definitely not older than five.

And that long fur and plush-toy-like look…

A Ragdoll cat?

Even though her eye color didn't quite match, she was definitely a Ragdoll.

After all, the breed appearance was very distinctive, and anyone with a bit of knowledge wouldn't easily mistake it. Not to mention Sherwin had once volunteered at a pet rescue center for a while.

Once the little Ragdoll recognized Sherwin as "Meowster," her face lit up with excitement. With a twist of her body, she hopped down from his arms.

It was then easy to see—this new Felyne really was just a kitten, clearly smaller than Sanji Meow by at least two sizes.

After landing, the little Ragdoll first placed the hat she'd been holding onto her fluffy head, then carefully patted away the dust and soot left from the earlier explosion.

Finally, she licked her paw and cleaned her face before standing tall and formally introducing herself to Sherwin—

"Knights of Favonius, Spark Knight, Klee, reporting in, meow! …Uh—what was the next line again? Klee can't remember, meow…"

The little Ragdoll scratched her ear with a paw, her face showing a puzzled yet adorable expression.

Sherwin, who had already recognized her identity: "…"

There was no helping it. Even though Sherwin had quit all mobile games before transmigrating, there was no way he wouldn't recognize her.

Whether it was the red beret and dress she wore, the little backpack on her back with the Dodoco hanging from it,

or the iconic four-leaf clover pattern—everything screamed at Sherwin that the Felyne in front of him was none other than Mondstadt strongest combat force,

frequent visitor of the confinement room, mass murderer of fish in the Lake of Dandelions, the Crimson Legend, the runaway sun, the one and only—
