Without Capone Bege interference, the battle naturally proceeded without further surprises. Seeing that Vito was already showing signs of collapse, Sanji Meow finally unleashed his long-prepared finishing move.
"Land, Sea, and Air Triple Skewer SHOOT, meow!"
He first leapt to Vito chest, hooked onto the red suit with his claws, then pushed off forcefully with all four limbs. Midair, he flipped halfway, and with his body inverted, delivered a Rising Dragon Kick straight to Vito chin, launching the tall man three feet off the ground.
Right after, Sanji Meow curled into a ball midair, falling in sync with Vito. The moment Vito body hit the ground and bounced, Sanji Meow opened up and used the downward momentum to straighten his legs, stomping down hard on Vito stomach.
His front paws followed up immediately, slamming into him.
Struck by the blow, Vito entire body curled up like a shrimp. Sanji Meow, after landing, jumped up again. In midair, he performed a front flip, positioning himself above Vito head.
He extended his body and smashed his black hind paw straight down onto Vito forehead.
Vito, who had just barely sat up, was kicked back to the ground. The back of his head slammed hard into the floor, making a loud thud.
"Thud!"
With the strange gunman Vito knocked out cold, Sanji Meow landed lightly on the floor.
The little yellow cat licked his paw, rubbed his face a few times in a messy fashion, then flicked his curled-fur ears and said with disdain, "What a pity. In my eyes, you're unqualified as an ingredient, meow."
Even though everyone had seen Sanji Meow steadily overpowering Vito the whole time, the moment he truly defeated him, the crowd in the hall still couldn't help but cry out in surprise.
"A-Amazing!"
"So the Mink Tribe is this strong?!"
"Mink Tribe? I thought they were just humans who ate the Cat-Cat Fruit."
"Idiot! Even if there was a Cat-Cat Fruit, do you think there could be two of them?!"
The Mink Tribe was already rare in the Grand Line, and even fewer people in the Four Blues knew of their existence.
"Big brother Sanji is amazing, meow!"
"Well done, Sanji."
Sherwin and Klee Meow were the first to rush forward and celebrate Sanji Meow victory.
"Heh, of course! I only chose to be a chef because I love cooking more, meow," Sanji Meow said proudly, shaking his little head.
"But that doesn't mean I'm not good at fighting, meow!"
"Yes, yes, our Sanji is the most reliable," Sherwin praised without hesitation. He picked up Sanji Meow and gave him a full Felyne-style massage, making the little yellow cat purr loudly in contentment.
"I can't even beat Sherwin cat..."
Uncle Bucks was sunk in depression.
Cody, on the other hand, looked completely calm, clearly having some understanding of the Mink Tribe combat strength.
"Hmph!"
With a grim face, Capone Bege spat out his cigar, then stomped on it forcefully a couple of times. His vicious eyes, however, were locked onto Sherwin, who was playing around with the cat.
"Hmm?" Sherwin noticed the stare, turned his head, raised an eyebrow, and asked in a teasing tone, "What the matter? Got any more advice for me, Boss Bege?"
Bege continued to glare silently at Sherwin, but his expression gradually returned to calm. A moment later, his face back to normal, Bege pulled out another cigar, lit it, took a deep drag, and finally spoke slowly:
"I underestimated you guys. Since that the case, let leave it at that."
With that, he turned and shouted at his subordinates, "What are you standing around for?! Hurry up and drag this disgraceful idiot Vito out of here!"
However, Sherwin had no intention of letting Bege off so easily.
"Seems like you're getting something wrong," he spoke. "From start to finish, it your Capone family that been causing me trouble. Now you're saying 'let call it off'—did you ask me?"
Bege turned back, his face dark. "Then what do you want? Are you declaring war on the Capone family?"
"Why not?" Sherwin spread his hands. "Even your men couldn't beat my cat. I really don't think you're as scary as you think."
He hadn't wanted to clash with these people before—partly because he didn't have a clear sense of their strength, and partly because he didn't want to drag Uncle Cody into it.
But now that he knew Uncle Cody could protect himself, and thanks to Vitt, he'd learned that Capone Bege current strength was even weaker than he'd estimated, Sherwin naturally no longer needed to hold back…
Mm, of course, he still had to keep an eye on Klee Meow.
"Hahahahahaha!" Capone Bege couldn't help but burst out laughing, then said to Sherwin with a sinister face,
"You're not seriously thinking that just because you beat Vitt, you're strong enough to go up against the Capone family?"
"Mm... what else?" Sherwin shrugged.
Klee Meow took the opportunity to hop onto his shoulder, baring her tiny fangs and claws with fierce cuteness. "Klee gonna blow you baddies to bits, meow!"
Sanji Meow also stepped forward a couple of paces, swaggering as he said, "Perfect. I was only warming up just now, meow."
"Mr. Cody?" Bucks was about to step in to help, but Cody stopped him.
"Let see what Sherwin plans to do first. He not someone who acts recklessly."
The surrounding merchants had certainly witnessed a spectacle today. Two of the three major families in Gress had been wiped out in the blink of an eye, and now even the third was being challenged.
So even though the Capone family no longer had the capacity to restrict their movements, most of the people still hadn't left. Under the protection of their own guards, they merely retreated a short distance.
Turns out, humans really do love watching a good show—some things don't change, even in another world.
"Hahahahaha!" Capone Bege threw his head back and laughed wildly, then waved his hand fiercely. "Take them out!"
At his command, members of the Capone family swarmed Sherwin with attacks. At the same time, a large number of troops surged out from Bege body, joining the assault against Sherwin.
"Capone Bege is mine. You two handle the rest," Sherwin said, unsheathing his sword and deflecting incoming bullets with a foresight slash, all while speaking to the two cats. Then he added a special reminder: "Klee, no bombs!"
Klee Meow, who already had her little paw in her backpack, immediately puffed up her cheeks—what the point of being a Blast Cat if she wasn't allowed to throw bombs?!
Still, the little plush behaved.
Though clearly unhappy, she still obeyed Sherwin and didn't pull out any explosives. Instead, she swung her little paws wildly in front of her in a mock technique—
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique, meow!"
"Klee-chan, save a few for me, meow!"
Seeing Klee Meow take out nearly a third of the enemies with a single fireball, Sanji Meow immediately shouted out, picking up speed under his paws and launching a flurry of fierce kicks at the gangsters in front of him.
"Level One Grilled Meat, meow!"
While the two cats were swiftly dealing with Capone Bege underlings, Sherwin also dashed forward with a single leap, closing the distance between him and Bege. With a casual swing, he slashed his blade straight at him.
