"Mr. Drake, before we finalize everything, I have one more question," I said, watching Cameron closely as he reviewed the contract terms.
He looked up from the papers. "What kind of question?"
"A personal one."
Evelyn glanced at me curiously. Cameron's expression shifted from professional politeness to guarded wariness.
"Personal how?"
"About your health."
Cameron's face went rigid. "I don't see how my health concerns our business relationship."
"Humor me," I said. "When did you last see a doctor about your stamina issues?"
The papers slipped from Cameron's hands. His face went from pale to red in seconds.
"What did you just say?"
"You heard me correctly."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Three minutes," I said quietly. "That's your limit, isn't it?"
