The silence in the hall stretched like a taut wire ready to snap. I stood motionless in the center of the blood-stained marble floor, my eyes moving slowly from one opponent to the next. The three masters from Sakura Country had arranged themselves in attack formation, but I could see the uncertainty creeping into their movements.

"You're going to fight all three of us at once?" Haruto Yamamoto asked, his voice carrying a mix of disbelief and rage. "Do you think we're some kind of joke?"

"Yes," I replied simply. "That's exactly what I think."
