Strange things start happening to Eliza. As she struggles to understand her identity, an ancient prophecy is revealed, shattering everything she thought she knew about herself.

“I am a dragon. I am the key to some ancient prophecy. And an unstoppable beast is coming to claim me as his mate. I’m not ready for this. I’m not ready for any of this.”

With danger closing in from all sides, Eliza must make a choice: Will she fulfill the prophecy and in doing so, seal the fate of the dragons by mating with Zerek? Or will she defy destiny, destroy him, and allow the dragons to rise again?
