SWORD AND TRAINING

The girl picks up her sword and walks away with her head lowered. She is a skilled swordfighter, no doubt — her movements sharp, her grip steady — but she still lacks real battlefield experience. That is the only reason the boy managed to defeat her, and he did it effortlessly.

[Idrees' POV]

Idrees approaches Abdul Rehman, who is busy working on something, his hands occupied and his mind focused. Just then, a voice calls out from behind him.

"You called for me, Commander Abdul Rehman?"

Abdul Rehman turns around at the sound of his name, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Yes," he replies calmly. "I did. There's something I need you to do. A task that only you can carry out."

Idrees, surprised, raises an eyebrow. "What kind of task?"

Abdul Rehman looks at him with a serious yet composed expression. "I want to make you a lieutenant commander," he says firmly. "But before that can happen, there are a few things you must work on."

He steps closer to Idrees and continues in a low, thoughtful voice.

"First, you need to learn to control your anger. It's a fire, Idrees. Useful in battle, dangerous outside of it."

Then he places a hand on Idrees' shoulder and adds, "Second, keep your ego in check. Pride is a heavy burden — one that can cloud your judgment."

"And third..." he pauses, his tone softening with a touch of conviction.

"I don't want to see poor children turn to stealing, or worse. These days, as soon as a child becomes a teenager, he begins to dream — of doing something great, of becoming someone. I've gathered a few such children, full of dreams but with empty hands. They don't know anything yet. That's where you come in."

"You'll train them, teach them everything you know. Pass on the skills you've learned."

Abdul Rehman smiles, pressing his hand gently but firmly on Idrees' shoulder. And For Motivation He recited Ayah From The Quran

وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مَخْرَجًۭا • وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ ۚ

"Wa man yattaqillaha yaj'al lahu makhrajan. Wa yarzuqhu min ḥaythu lā yaḥtasib."

(Surah At-Talaq, 65:2-3)

"And whoever fears Allah – He will make a way out for him, and provide for him from where he does not expect."

Idrees nods, a flicker of determination in his eyes. "I'll try my best. I'll teach those children everything I've learned, every skill I possess."

Commander Abdul Rehman gives a slight nod of approval, his voice still calm but with a trace of humor. "Yes, but make sure to teach them how to live without cruelty, without ego, and without letting anger consume them."

He chuckles, stepping back. "You may go now."

He nods in agreement, a silent "yes" spoken through the motion of his head.

Idrees Goes To pray zuhr Abdul Rehman, too, turns to leave — but not just anywhere. He walks with purpose, heading straight towards the mosque.

There's a quiet sense of calm in his steps, as if the weight of duty has now shifted into a moment of peace.

Upon reaching the mosque, he performs wudu — the ritual ablution — washing his hands, mouth, face, arms, and feet with reverence, preparing not just his body but his soul.

Then, standing in the rows of prayer, he offers his salah, his heart connected, his mind focused — seeking strength, clarity, and guidance from the One who sent him on this path.
