"Mr. Reed, you don't have to do that!"
Randal's movements didn't slow in the slightest, and he completely ignored Derick's jealous glare.
"You've lost the right, Derick."
After Randal finished helping me, he prepared to leave, taking my numb self with him.
Daisy's cousin, upset she didn't get to eat, muttered under her breath behind us.
"It's dead anyway, taking it back won't change that. You might as well have let us handle it."
I couldn't hold it in anymore, and my voice was nearly a roar. "Do you people have any humanity!?"
Derick shot them an icy glare, and the others lowered their heads.
Randal walked straight up to Daisy's family and said gravely, "Every single one of you here today will not get away with this."
"I've already called the police for intentional destruction of property. Get ready to pay."
For these stingy and clueless relatives, making them pay up was the only way they'd ever learn their lesson.
