ACT 1 – CHAPTER 4: Blood on the Rooftop

Hallway – East University

Huff… huff… huff…

Louise sprinted through the halls, clutching his bag tight, dodging through confused students.

He turned a corner and nearly crashed into Cy, who leaned lazily against a vending machine, sipping bottled iced tea.

Louise (panting): "Cy! Axel and Migs… they're in trouble!"

Cy (barely reacting): "What kind of trouble?"

Louise: "Education guys. Five of them showed up to our class—tall, built, pissed off. They told Axel to follow them. And now… I don't know."

Cy: "They can probably handle it."

Louise (grabbing his arm): "There were ten more waiting on the rooftop. I followed them up and peeked before they saw me."

That made Cy pause.

He stood up straight.

Cy: "…Shit."

He tossed the bottle into a nearby bin and took off, fast.

Rooftop – East University

A chill wind swept across the concrete rooftop. Ten students from the Education department stood in formation—tall, smirking, their jackets sharp and ironed like military uniforms.

Educ Student 1: "Look who's here. Mr. Computer Science himself."

Axel and Migs arrived, standing side by side.

Axel (calm): "What do you want?"

Educ Student 2: "To teach you a lesson."

Educ Student 3: "You've been making too much noise. A freshman becoming a leader? That's not how this school works."

Educ Student 1: "Computer Science has always been weak. You don't get to rewrite history because you beat one guy."

Axel cracked his neck.

Axel: "Then let's stop talking."

Educ Student 1: "Impatient, huh?"

He turned to his group. "Teach him manners."

They moved forward.

Migs (stepping up): "If you're going after him, you're going through me too."

Axel (surprised): "You didn't have to come."

Migs: "Didn't feel right letting you fight alone."

Educ Student 1: "So the sidekick's got guts."

Migs: "I got more than that."

Axel and Migs charged.

Educ Students: "Get them!"

The fight exploded.

Axel weaved between punches and kicks like he was dancing. Every move was clean, efficient, devastating. He floored two students instantly—one with a hook to the jaw, the other with a spinning elbow.

Migs wasn't as fast, but he fought with grit. He took a few hits, got knocked to a knee, but rose swinging every time. His knuckles bloodied, his face bruised, but his stance never faltered.

Still, the numbers started closing in.

Crack!

A kick landed on Migs' back, knocking him down. Another fist followed—then a stomp.

Suddenly—

Thud!

A flying kick sent one of the Educ students flying into a railing.

Cy landed like a storm.

Cy: "Sorry I'm late."

Without waiting for a reply, he slammed his fist into the nearest opponent, then spun and kneed another in the stomach.

The tide shifted.

Cy was a brawler. Unrefined, raw—but effective.

Now with Axel carving through the crowd and Cy backing up Migs, the rooftop was theirs.

One by one, Education students fell.

Bruised. Dazed. Humiliated.

Educ Student 1 (glaring, limping): "This isn't over."

He and his crew fled down the stairwell, dragging each other.

Silence.

The fight was done.

Migs (wincing): "Fuck… that was rough."

Cy (grinning): "You're welcome."

He looked over at Axel—still standing, no bruises, no panting. Just calm, like nothing happened.

Migs: "Is he even human?"

Cy: "He's a damn machine."

Axel (quietly): "Why do they care so much?"

Migs: "You took Cy's spot too easily. That scared them."

Cy: "To them, Computer Science was the bottom of the barrel. You flipped the ladder. That makes you a threat."

Footsteps echoed behind them.

Louise burst in, gasping.

Louise: "Are you guys okay?!"

Cy (annoyed): "Why do you keep popping out of nowhere?"

Louise (ignoring him): "You were amazing! Axel, you did a left jab like BAM! and then—Cy, that spinning kick? WOO! And Migs—dude, that elbow drop!"

Cy: "You watched?"

Louise (shrugging): "Well, I was worried… so I recorded it too."

Migs: "Of course you did…"

Louise suddenly turned serious.

Louise: "They're not done. You just embarrassed Education. That's the first domino. The other departments will see this as a challenge."

He looked at Cy and Migs.

Louise: "So, are you two in? Or are you walking away?"

Cy leaned back against the wall, arms crossed.

Cy: "When I was leader, I wasn't really leading. They used me. I fought so they could manipulate the course."

He glanced at Axel.

Cy: "You're different. I didn't believe it at first, but now? I think you might actually change things."

Migs: "Same here. I was the guy who handled the dirty work, the beatdowns, the threats. I'm tired of it."

He nodded toward Axel.

Migs: "But your plan—it's crazy. You sure?"

Axel: "I just want a normal life. If I have to tear this system down to get it… I will."

Cy: "No turning back now."

Louise (grinning): "Then good. Because I've been researching every course and their leaders. We need to know who we're up against."

He held up a thick folder.

Louise: "You're going to want to see this."

Cy (deadpan): "Great. Now the nerd has a battle plan."

Louise (cheerfully): "Damn right I do. Follow me, soldiers."
